@shamim13333 Because the mines are triggered through weight being placed on them. He could remove his shoe but the shoe has less weight than he did thus triggering the mine to blow up. It would have been smart for Mickey Rourke to have a weight in his pocket to place in his shoe to keep the mine from triggering, if that makes any sense. EPIC MOVIE FIGHT SCENE!

@baz00ka666 He's not asian bro...His name is Todd David Senofonte, actor/stuntman, an expert and champion in Tang Soo Do. He always dreamed of being in movies. After having his first acting role in 1996, Todd's skills in fighting and agility were recognized and he was discovered as Jean-Claude Van Damme's main stand-in/stunt double, but also his close friend.

I mean it was cool in Ong Bak 1, But he doin the same old stuff in Ong Bak 2, & 3. I liked his movie the Protector. That was a great movie. It be nice to see him, & Scott together tho! But not Hollywood style. Hollywood will destroy them like they did w kackie chan. They wouldn't let Jackie do his own stunts.

Mmmmm, Mickey Rourke has a killer bod in this movie but has no fighting skill at all. He gets pulvarized by Van Damme throughout the entire film and mostly during the final fight scenes; even the tiger gets a piece of Mickey Rourke.
