Hi Ron. I have the can smasher mounted on valve springs from a car to reduce vibration thats why it moves. It would be running around the room with out them. You have a good eye for detail. Thanks for the comment.

I have been watching can smashers/crushers for a while gathering ideas. Yours is very nice. fast, strong and looks easy to build.
In the video it seems to be flexing under the force? i guess it could be the off balance of the arm?
Have any ideas about reinforcing it to stop the flex or any improvements you can share before i start building one similar?
