  • You've CAT to be KITTEN me right MEOW!

  • Apple is generally for people who don't want to worry about the technology aspect of Technology. That's why I prefer PC!

  • I get why people like macs, they don't want to deal with the issues of having that level of customizability. But I love my PC, I know whats inside, I put it together and I can take it apart and add better components without having to swap out my kidney to pay for it. Also form should never beat function but we are fickle human beings and we like brands cos we believe they denote certain aspects of our personalities. With a little know-how and a sense of pragmatism there is always an alternative.

  • @wokjow please kind sir, tell me what part of a mac isn't customizable?

  • Nice pussy.

  • nice skarf.

  • Watch my review on my channel of the Intuos4.

  • Why does the Size is SO IMPORTANT!?

  • i dont get how u use a tablet..... the screen black!

  • @dander62 You don't look at the tablet while you draw. You look at the monitor.

  • Can someone please tell me the difference between the Intuos4 and the Bamboo tablet? I really want to make sure I buy the right one. Thank you.

  • @Ketsado hhmmm no difference really, the bamboo seems easier to draw with and the Intuos is a bit bigger and costs more....... hope it helps :)

  • is it a very hard to convert your drawing skills from on paper onto the intuos ???

  • @jasperrumbelow No, but it will take a bit of time getting used to it. But definitely get a tablet.

  • im getting a 6x8 wacom tablet, is this size okay? for my first graphics tablet.. T///T does 6x8 tablet feel to small? please help

  • @TheNarutoxoxo No, that's definitely fine. Just make sure the aspect ratio is the same as your monitor.

  • is the small size ?

  • yeah what size is that?? one ??? is that a medium which one is better large or Medium?

  • what size is that one

  • Can I haz Intuos4

  • Well, I just opened mine. I noticed straight away how hard the buttons are to smush. I was expecting a little more of a clicky feeling and not to have to press soooo hard!!! I dont like it at all for now. Maybe I'll get used to it. I just put my intuos3 large back into it's box. I'll comment again later on my new intuos4. I really dont like how hard I have to press the buttons!

  • Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwww.......... :<

  • illustrator is way better than photoshop for drawing

  • Alan Rickman?

  • wtf. that kind of job can be easily done with just MOUSE =.=

  • @mysticswordsman21 Sorry I took 11 months to respond lol. So no. You're wrong, it can be better with a tablet. It has pen pressure sensitivity and its way better than drawing with a mouse cause with the tablet you can feel that you're drawing like in a paper :D

  • that's a cat in the picture, lol.

  • what size tablet do you have??

  • BUT nobody fixes the f*ck nib wearing problem!!!

  • Fat tired fuck euro queer is depressing to look at.

  • canz i draw mew?

  • will somebody please tell me what size this is?

  • @oshivy kinda late reply to your comment, but if you still need to know: this looks like the medium (A5) size

  • and how much is it?

  • hello, this is the S (small) ???? if yes, it's quite big

  • Nice demo.... but... it wasn't Gun-Smoke... :} that was Paladin... "Have Gun Will Travel" was the name of the show.... just thought you'd like to know that ("> be well... Fred

  • damn, why wacom chooses such boring artists to promote thier product? 3rd pointless video already

  • Everytime I see images like the ones he drew, I think of crazy, spontaneous artists that wear bright colors (don't ask)... Now i'll imagine dull old guys with a monotonous voice 0_o Just kidding, he's not THAT dull and monotonous.... :P

  • You are meant to hover above the tablet, so yes it's the correct way.

  • I regret buying a Cintiq 12 the colors dont even match my main monitor and it cant be adjusted right. and its not comfortable having it in your lap. should bought the Intuos4...

  • @rubbe

i'm sure it's your main monitor.

what type is it? TFT or IPS-S, E-IPS, H-IPS, ASV, S-PVA or MVA?

  • No clue its a samsung :P the difference between black and white colors are a lot easier to see. and colors are more vibrant and full of life i cant say thats the case on clitiq

  • that's why. at the begining i thought that all the monitors are the same but i found out that monitors world is a REAL BIG GIANT world. samsung and LG invented the technology but the worst of them all (samsung i mean) it's cool for gaming but as an artist it's worthless specially when it comes with HDMI tuner. take alook at HP dream color, and eizo & NEC brands then you'll notice the REAL different. P.S: do you know that CRT is the BEST OF THEM ALL when it comes to colors specially for artists!?

  • @diamonddonut That's why I own a CRT!

I really love it, 20" 1600x1200, damn sharp contrast! Nobody believes me that this is the best for doing digital drawings and such, but well, they don't have to. I love mine. :)

  • @SpeedyNellyaa

but the worst thing that crt models r the types to weak eye vision with waves and rays stuff that's why i don't like them.

  • @diamonddonut its eizo 2411w with an s-pva panel

  • @gant0ine

what with it? this is splash i guess just because of the brand name, so professional if it's S-pva panel.

  • @rubbe Don't just go expensive right away assuming it's the best, sometimes you need to research a little bit before buying anything and sometimes older/cheaper models are much better and reliable, just a tip for everyone

  • @rubbe Thanks for your review, I really wanted to buy a Cintiq so bad, so this was helpful thank you :)

  • @rubbe

That is not the point of the cintiq. It is not a monitor for viewing movies or previewing the work, its a monitor for drawing or sketching. The technology isn't advanced enough to be able to have both a tablet and an amazing monitor in one. The film that makes it possible to use the pen also degrades the colors. That is why it is recommended to have a second monitor with better colors when using the cintiq. Things like the color picker on the main monitor, just draw on the cintiq.

  • @HDaviator - thanks! that was definitely helpful. didn't know there was a color quality diff. i'm still tring to figure out which to get. i have large hands and am used to sweeping motions. want either the large or xl. saw a guy with medium demo and it seemed comfy tho. i used to draw free hand and am getting into graphics. you have any suggestions. i think i'd be OK with intuos, i'll be able to adjust to my drawings not being under my hand. whats a good way to choose size for home/school use?

  • @rubbe i aggree that intuos4 is better. i have the cintiq 12 though and you said the colours are bad then there must be something wrong with your main monitor because the colors on my cintiq are better than even my dell 2408 or ipad display. wacom did the colors right. your main monitor might be off or your cintiq needs caliubration :S

  • @rubbe they say taht apple computers project better colors on their monitors, at least thats what they said on my school.

  • @joshshoot Sorry but that is not true. Providing you have a relatively good monitor and you calibrate it, there should be no difference at all.

  • @UnknownGnome1 well my school is a sort of art acadamy, only about 2000 ppl go there, and you can buy a apple laptop there with photoshop and stuff for you studies and work. they said that they sell apple macbooks because they have a better resolution of colors ont their screens.

  • @joshshoot Well if they sell them, they would say that wouldn't they?! I have been in many professional production studios and for a start most of them used crt monitors. But many production grade monitors will rival what Apple offers at a fraction of the price.

  • @UnknownGnome1 well some students said that apple is better for designing, maybe its their fault, i dont konw man, if you say the are both good then ill believe you.

  • @joshshoot A PC is as good as any Mac. You could buy a PC these days which the same power as a Mac for less than half the price of a Mac. Long time ago, I was a Mac user, but I have learned that for me a PC is a better machine no matter which way you cut it. In fact, you can easily build your own PC with the latest hardware, and this is something will be hard to do with a Mac since Apple has its proprietary OS. You can even run Linux on a PC along with Windows 7. Just my $.02!

  • @orestesdd I've never had a PC that hasn't gone badly wrong at some time in it's life. Programs borrow/share codes from other programs and eventually there ends up being conflicts of one sort or another and the whole system slows or falls over and crashes all the time. Because of Apple's "proprietary" OS this just doesn't seem to happen on a Mac. I converted to Mac 5 years ago and will never go back to PC!

  • @orestesdd finally someone with common sense =) with these kinds of financial times..people should think before they say..wooo shiney=buy

  • @jaja1818 Macs and Apple products are just that, a shiny things. There are better products out there costing much less than similar or comparable Apple products. No all that shines is gold as the old saying goes or something like this. It seems Apple wants to get in to people's wallet and take their money. I don't understand why people have to rush every 6 months or so a new Apple iPhone. Isn't the one that was bought six month ago still functional? Apple has brain-washed some.

  • @orestesdd "It seems Apple wants to get in to people's wallet and take their money."

Are you honestly that naive to think the purpose of any corporation is more interested in something outside of profit?

  • intuos kicks more ass

  • Can the OLED shortcut buttons be programmed to any shortcut that you want?

  • Not any, but alot (everything the tablet driver supports)

Also if you press the question mark button, an overlay on your screen will appear which show you all your buttons and the shortcuts you assigned them to (esp. useful for the Small version, since it doesnt have the OLED displays on the tablet)

  • @jcb1972

    yeah

  • got the hang of it, after a few practices.. got a chance to try it yesterday..fell for it rightaway after i began to play around with it. this shit is awesome with pressure level and controlling! but the pen leads..hmmm. It wear after certain period of time & u have to replace it. WHY??? WHYY???

  • Try Wacom Cintiq 12wx it is $1000 but comes with amazing software and better yet a 2 year warranty!

  • Well, they give you like, ten replacement nibs...and the nibs are pretty cheap on ebay or craigslist. ^_^

  • how do u use this if u cant see your computer screen projected onto the tablet? like how do u kno where to put ur pen and draw on the perfect area?

  • the pointer moves as you hover over the tablet, its magnetic

  • ohhhhhhhhhh i see, thanks =D that makes it much better

  • how do u no where ur moving ur mouse? the tablet uses the same idea

  • My question too!

  • you have the pointer "floating" above the screen and when you touch the tablet with it you make a stroke/move etc. Just like the mouse basicaly and when u press the pen its like a left mouse click.

  • i have a question. well when i point my tablet pen isnt reacting to the screen. i mean its suppose to act like a mouse does. but when i move it around. nothing happens. also the express keys arent showin up! HELELP

  • I own an Intuos 3, but I heard that you have to disconnect and then reconnect your USB cable (with the pen laying on the tablet), if it's not reacting.

Else, go to the settings and click on some settings, that should also help.

  • @Charla029

Well guess you got an answer to your question. But I can tell you that I had the same problem with my tablet, had to reinstall the driver software a few times before all the features was OK. A bit of advice is to not rush through the installation. It will only delay your hurray I can draw.

  • when the pen gets a little close to the tablet, the mouse goes to that place, and moves with the pen, then when ur at the place u wanna be, u press

  • ohhh ic ic, this is ......THE PERFECT CHRISTMAS PRESENT FOR ME lol, i hope i get it =]]

  • Nooo get the wacom cintiq 12wx ! :D

  • CINTIQ = 1024 pressure, Intuos4 = 2048

  • well the same way u use your mouse ? :) you dont have anything projetcted onto your pad either, do you.

  • is the large size too large?? i'm not exactly a pro and i think the medium would be good enough, but the large is A4 right? what would you guys prefer??

  • If you don't have a giant screen, the medium is more than enough.

  • i've got a widescreen.

  • yeah ive got a 24' iMAC what would be good

  • IMO the size really only matters if you like to working in really large areas. If you go for the large you have to be used to(or get used to) moving your whole forearm and not just your wrist.

All of the tablets are in wide format for use with widescreens, so don't worry about it not working right on your monitor.

  • I got the large one, but its too big for me, so I reduced the active area of it.

I guess M size should be enough for everyone with an avarge size lcd.

  • I JUST GOT MY WACOM Intuos 4 meadium BITCHEZZ!!!

    YEAH!!

Wheel down is bigger bruch size for me, wheel up is smaller brush size.

  • Got my Intous4 L today, it's a great product but i can't get the touchwheel to work with photoshop, i setted up all the keys for it but it's not decreasing the brush size jus increasing -.- also i can't get the turning of the screen to work

  • me too brush size dusn't do anything in photoshop

  • I just bought a Wacom Intuos 4 for a PC. It works great. It fits well beside my keyboard. The large is too large and you don't need it. Get the 4. It's well worth the price.

  • ok i used a Mac with Photoshop in high school and thought Mac and that program was great together, but i have a PC at home with Windows XP and i was wondering if anyone can tell me if it does or doesn't matter weather you have a PC or Mac and obviously have to have at least XP. but does the Intuos4 work better on one than the other. PLEASE HELP. SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!

  • Intuos4 supports Windows operating systems as well as Mac OS so you are free to decide which kind of computer you'd like to use.

  • @navliv90 No the story is outdated by now, macs aren't running any special hardware anymore but are just intel machines with a diff os.

Personally I never had much problems with windows, I've always done all my graphics work on it. currently that being win7 64bit, photoshop 64 bit and 3ds max 64 bit and a wacom tablet. In the old days by now ng ago in pc tech terms powerpc cpu based macs could handle the huge 300dpi dtp stuff better but that's quite outdated info by now.

  • @navliv90 over all what really matters is ability for your PC or Mac to run photoshop.. lol the Intuos4 works on everything :]

  • cant you see what you are drawing on the wacom itself?

  • Nope, thats Cintiq not Intuous

  • ok, thank you for letting me know what to get. ^w^

  • err, your welcome? =D

  • i say medium is best, small is missing two buttons and the light up button indicator

  • "Have tablet, will travel."

    Damn him lol

  • Lol

  • what size small or medium? HEEELPP!! I can't make up my mind!!

  • Large:)

  • Comment removed

  • I've ordered the medium. It's enough, but if you have a lot of money to spend on it, get the extra large,

  • Medium. The small doesn't come with LED screens.

  • Thanks.. Do you use the OLED's display much?

  • Medium. Small doesn't feature the OLED display and of course you've got a better work space to play round with. If you're a professional I'd say go with either medium or large.

  • SUPER LAAAAAAAAAAAAARGEEEE

but in all seriousness if you go that big you may as well put in an extra 3 thousand dollars for a cintiq.

i'm trying to go for a large though. you know how annoying it is when you're trying to draw a nice long line and ur hand just drops off the side? =((

medium would be pretty good, but depends on how big your screen is, mine's freakin huge so a medium might be a bit useless

  • THanks i got the MEDIUM... just unboxed it!

  • i like turtles

  • He bought a Intuos 4 to do LOL cats?

  • LOL

  • loool

  • lol

  • that's not the only thing here man! Do you see the EIZO Display? ;-D

  • @holycrapyousuck You made me lol in a non-lol enviroment XD

  • Hi robin

  • Uuh, this dude sounds very COPD to me, man!

  • Comment removed

  • Its intuos 4 M size :P I think, I know... I just ordered one

  • if you ppl want a A4 you need to buy the large version...

  • 95% sure its a A5

  • is that a medium size?

  • is that an A5 or A6?

  • Looks like an A5 to me.

  • it's an A5 wide, the A6 wide (small) version doesn't have LED lights and has 2 less Expresskeys than the other sizes
