What a brilliant retrocomedy! Renée Zellweger and Ewan McGregor were truly amazing. Sarah Paulson and David Hyde Pierce were sweet as well.

I recommend this film to everyone - very entertaining!

I love the scene, where Barbra and Catcher are getting ready, and Fly Me to the Moon is played in the very girly Astrud Gilberto-version and the more cool, manly Sinatra-version. One of my favourite scenes in the movie.

The best thing about this film is the music.... maybe the art direction too. Who can watch Renee's pinched sneer? The woman has one expression.  Calling this a film a takeoff of the Rock/Doris romps of the 60s is an insult to Hollywood.

Probably the smartst and most miswunderstood comeday in many years. THis was a brilliant film with wit and class which got every aspect of the arly 60d Hudson Day genre correct.. I wish a greater filmscore had been released than what had came out, as there are a lot of great cues missing from the orignal score that was released.

Agreed rjmdrum, I absolutely adore this film for its sheer brilliance. It got every cue right, every little nuance characterstic of the 60s genre spot on, costumes are those of any costumer's dream, and the casting is perfect. My favourite scene is 4:02 and onward, awesome kiss! Lasted 20 seconds, just smokin'!
