  • Sergeant Horvath: That's quite a view.

Captain Miller: Yes it is. Quite a view

  • THE BASTARDS DESERVE TO BE DESTROYED FOR BLOWING UP JACKSON, SHOOTING WADE, AND KILLING SO MANY OTHERS!! R.I.P boys! your work is done, stand easy!

  • american GI's were born for the slaughter in a Hebrew Roman pagan world

Omaha Beach was a deliberate mega gentile blood spill for the vampiric god of tribal war fare that wants gentile blood.

they died like dumb animals in a shooting range that went on unstopped for hours.

a deliberate mistake for the worship of a pagan, blood thirsty inferior Hebrew god, Yahweh.

  • @sonbarably Source? Facts? Anything? Or just sayin stuff without any knowledge?

  • @drizzid

why would such a large military power not bomb the German held hills beforehand?

well, they did, but they were miles off and merely killed french farmer's cattle.

    very unusual error?

why didn't the commanders correct it ASAP?

this slaughter went on for hours, like many battles in this war, American soldiers were underfed, underclothed and sitting ducks.

a little too strange for a country with a giant military, or any self respecting brass, don't you think?

  • @sonbarably America wasnt rich in the 40's and the jews where pretty much destroyed by Adolf hitler.

The US fleet waited many days on the coast of the normandy, the weather wasto shitty for them to land,on the 6th day they started the attack, because the weather was slightly clearer in the morning and the USA already droped some Special forces behind the enemy lines. So they had no different choice but to attack, and the Old bombers couldn't see anything. Ask veterans if you dont...

  • @sonbarably the fuck u talkin bout?

  • @TheForrest1996 I liked Jackson alot. Then they blew him up

  • @terminator6267 amen

  • I really did like this song. Around 1:25 the theme reminds me a lot of Hans Zimmer's work on the Lion King, in particular at the end when the battle is over and it starts to rain near pride rock. John Williams did a great job with this score.

  • They're tankbusters sir, P51's.

  • @BROADYMAN5000 angels on our shoulders!

  • man will always be at war , religion, money and madness mixed together is the prefect storm that shall never calm.

  • @The08Joker Thank you for speaking the hard truth...Religion and capital are two things that the world will never be without, and as long as they're around, people will continue to fight over it.

  • @Mjr3945 And thank you for saying what I was going to say lol.

  • i had 2 great grandfathers and several great uncles in WW2 so to be honest...im really loving this song because it makes me think of theyre sacrifice and bravery.

  • @hwebb1100 Im sorry for your loss, what were there names and rank?

  • @nick95playa i dont exactly know their names and rank because i never met them and my relatives and stuff never knew em. all my relatives know is that they fought in World War 2 and possible Korea. but my only surviving Great Grandfather who was in the infantry during world war 2, he lived. His name was Eric Jemelka. He was a sergeant in the 71st infantry division and he was the barber(hair cutting) for his company : D

  • days wen wars were waged to stop a monster from takeing over the world and not oil.

  • @iamthehangedman i agree that oil was the primary cause for involvement, but isn't the war on terrorism a noble thing?

  • brave men rip the fallen and rember and thank those who fought for a better world

  • now soldiers are fighting needless wars like the one in afganistan to please the president.Truly embarassing to america and all the gop candidates are warmongers supporting needless wars with the exception of Ron Paul. That guy is truly the last honest and principled politician.

  • BRINGS TEARS TO MY EYES. Those brave souls that fought and died for our freedom, for which we now take for granted.....

NEVER FORGET THEM AND ALWAYS HONOUR THEM!

    Peace to all.

  • (;__;)7

  • :,(,,,,,,,

  • I think the start is the best part.

  • @AOProductions1000 I think it's all good lol.

  • War is young men dying and old men talking

  • If these soldiers came back to life, they wouldn't give two shits about their country know.

  • There are moments where in the middle of the day I remember a story that a World War Veteran told me. O, that I may have a tenth of his bravery.

  • @lohrmannmedia Which world war was he in?

  • Thank You to everyone who served in the military my grandaddy private Jacob allens died in the 4th platoon in Norway but honesty the gov. used you

  • @aurangzib sorry to hear that but you know what? he died in my country

  • "Earn This"

  • fikt euch ins knie mein opa ist gestorben und ha tgedient ! und war in gefangenschafft! hört auf euch gegenseitig zu bemittleiden ihr bastarde

  • @MySpartan55 "It is well that war is so terrible. We should grow too fond of it." Robert E. Lee

  • @silkyz1337 COD haha

  • @MrBen916 No, our grandfathers didn't fight so hard just so we could play a game glorifying war.

  • @berserker276 They still havent made the game about battles my grandad was in.

  • @SerbianCommandoSCGRS And what battles were they?

  • @berserker276 Fighting germans in Yugoslavia (Neretva,Sutjeska and others, there are movies about those battles-type NERETVA BATTLE)

  • @SerbianCommandoSCGRS So you know what your grandparents did? I wish I knew. All I know is that of my grandfathers was an airman, the other was a footsoldier I think.

  • @berserker276 He survived and told me some stories about the war,so i know some things. He passed away few years ago.You could maybe look for men from your granddad unit if some of them are still alive ;)

  • @SerbianCommandoSCGRS I don't know what units they were in though. I know what squadron one of them was in, but not the other.

  • @berserker276 Look into the archives, everything is written there ;) If you have time and vill you will dig something ;)

  • @mackman1134 i know, but its the country we live in. the only thing we can do is to continue to provide the right. otherwise, we forget what our forefathers fought so hard for

  • @silkyz1337 yes that is right for those who did for this country and the future genertion let us not forget the sacrfice they made for us let this song honor all of those who died in a war from every country

  • the movie puts out a real message...............that war is horrible

  • why would they dislike this

  • @mackman1134 i told you before. cause they do. it may be because they hate the US or the war or whatever. or they could not like the song, it dosn't matter.

I salute you 22 dislikers, for representing the free speech of america!!!!

  • @silkyz1337 I'm not judeging it just seems wrong

  • For the 22 who disliked this

I hope you enjoy your life in hell, because if you disrespect the Army, then you my enemies have just disrespected the whole nation

    BURN IN HELL!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Ca11ofDuty15 thank you that's what i was thinking. my granddad served in WW2. he was part of the invasion of Normandy.

  • @Ca11ofDuty15 yeah i know, no offense

  • 22 people are nazi germans

  • @dropy255 1 faggot still thinks these jokes are funny.

  • @dropy255 Germans aren't the only Nazis, pal.

  • Get sad when I hear this soundtrack, Maybe because wayne dies.. :(

  • how can you dislike this?

  • P.S. Thanks John Williams for this masterpiece!

  • @ironmaiden93ofangmar It's great, I have an old tribute video for Sept. 11 where they used this song and it fits perfectly.

  • @ironmaiden93ofangmar Angmar is in LOTR.. you wouldn't happen to be a LOTR fan would you?

  • @berserker276 Actually I was a servant of the Witch King in the cold region of Angmar, but I got fired when the Witch King's forces were destroyed :)

lol yup, LOTR fan for life xD

  • @ironmaiden93ofangmar Lol same here.

  • @ironmaiden93ofangmar Our soldiers DO fight for our country. They know what they are fighting for. We are fighting terrorism. They are fighting for the American Flag. They are fighting for the men and women of the United States. A few months ago the navy seals killed osama bin laden. Don't tell me they don't know when there is no draft and all of them decided to enlist Don't tell me when over 5,000 lives were lost in the Iraqi war. Freedom is never Free. Thanks to our military. God Bless America

  • @celticsinbama Yea.. everyone knows America is the only one fighting out there.

  • @celticsinbama Oh buoy you write well....Oh yes...God bless America.....Freedom doesn't come free......

  • @ironmaiden93ofangmar We aren't fighting Iraq. We are fighting the Taliban. The terrorists. We arent shooting at the Iraqi soldiers, they are helping the US. This is not like WWII. This is more like a police enforcing. It takes Congress to declare war on something. And they did not. When we were fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan it wasn't for power. It was to fight terrorists to keep America safe. We are over there because the acts on 9/11 and Saddam Hussein was getting big and doing wrong things

  • @celticsinbama Its all about oil and controlling the power over there. Now were killing Iranian scientist I mean come on. America is lying to you and there lying to our troops. I know its nice to help other countries with their problems but its also a good front for getting troops in that part of the world. It sure looks like global control to me. You don't see China or Russia having to fight terrorists and they are a lot closer.

  • @Renegade2283 Just wanted to point out that Russia has a heck of a lot more terrorism than the West, especially trouble stemming from the Caucus Regions.

  • @Renegade2283 It is about oil. I dont think power. We are the most powerful country in the world. I am not saying help them. I think we shouldn't help anyone except our close allies. And I mean CLOSE. China and Russia don't go over there because terrorists didnt attack them. Saudia Arabia isnt our TOP importer for oil. it's actually Canada. It doesn't matter how close they are. Everyone hates America that isn't.

  • @celticsinbama ur 26yrs old CANT believe it you use ur ass to think instead of ur brain?! but somehow i like ur comment cos every1 has experienced that age wif emotion and patriotic including myself, Education is so fcken important plz enrol urself to uni or post-graduate cos that help ppl to get the ability to think individually, plz no more ARSS-THINk

  • @TheBensonbenson What are you talking about talking out of my ass? All the things I have said are facts. If you even watch the news or anything. And yes I have graduated from college. From an actual university. I have family and friends who have served in every war since the civil war. I am going in the army soon. I intern with congressmen before. I know what I am talking about. You are probably some 14 year old who masturbates to his sister.

  • @ironmaiden93ofangmar me personally I think we should have pulled out of Iraq a lot earlier. What this is is a war on terrorism. Not a war for power. Trust me the US knows that they have more power than Iraq and Afghanistan. Do you ever see Iraq or Afghanistan help countries when they need help? NO. Everyone is always asking the US even though they hate Americans. Which pisses me off. Im not a big fan of just helping everyone in the world. I think just our close allys. But that's me.

  • @celticsinbama We are not free because of the Iraqi war.. The regional control and pressure on other nations there is the reason we went there, along with the control of Iraq's oil. Saddam Hussein wasn't dictating over the U.S. citizens. He wasn't threatening our constitutionally ensured personal liberties. A "main reason" we invaded was to find Hussein's cache of hidden Weapons of Mass Destruction, which the American people were told there were hundreds of.

  • @DLambo21We found zero WMD's. The only real weapons we found were some sparse amounts of chemical weapons that the U.S. sold to Saddam in the 70s. To me, the government's desire to control oil prices is not worth 5,000 American soldiers. Neither was it to Bush's administration, which is why we were flooded with propaganda regarding "WMD."

  • @DLambo21Nowhere in the Constitution states that the Federal Government has the authority or power to overthrow dictatorships and "nation build," or that we are obligated because of our power to be World Police. 5,000 American soldiers died for something that was not worth dying for. It was just another Vietnam, except people now are more blindly supportive of our foreign policy.

  • @DLambo21 I am not saying we are free because of the iraqi war. I never said that. I am saying we are free because of the troops. Because they fight for us. Yeah of course he wasn't dictating over the US. I never said anything about that. I said he was over them. We always invade somewhere if we hear about hidden weapons of mass destruction that is our enemy. Look at the "Bay of Pigs".

  • @ironmaiden93ofangmar Nowadays soldiers are fighting because they could not find a better job to pay their debts, expenses, etc.

  • @Yozer245 That is not true at all....and you are extremely ignorant for saying something like this. I worked for two global shipping and engineering companies before I joined, I had no problems paying my bills.

  • @ironmaiden93ofangmar Im sure they understand it more than you do, as you sit behind your computer screen seeing only what the media shows you.

  • @pietjepuk12345678901

    Yes, yes it is...

  • our GIs died like dumb animals in a shooting range

an inexplicable error in coordinates that was never explained

    and was never corrected

    hours of slaugher

a ritual sacrifice for the elite's pagan god of tribal war - Yahweh

    Jesus was executed twice

    once on the cross

    and then in scripture

  • great grand father was in the 101st and air dropped into the bulg. song reminds me of him more than anything

  • great film! I wouldn't say it's the most gory film of all time though

  • One of my favorite movies. Hope, we will never have war again. Our grandfathers fight for peace and freedom. Let us try to keep their inheritance, that even our children could grow up in peace, without fear of the next morning. Let us make our grandfathers be proud.

Best wishes from Germany!!! (sorry for my horrible English).

  • Thats quite a view.....

  • It is movies like this, that makes us think what this world could have come to if it didn't end the way it did, im proud to have people close to me who took part in this great war, that did not only change our point of view upon war and peace. It also changed our respect for one another. I salute the people fighting for a better tomorrow....

  • My great uncle was at Normandy, he landed on a higginson boat. His legs were blown off by a mortar round, he died in a hospital 2 weeks later from shock. What an honor it would've been to have met that man.

  • @njs300800 why, he died straight away?

    not all soldiers are honourable....

  • my great grandfather was wounded in Normandy, he was one of the lucky ones who eventually came home

  • wonderful soundtrack of an exciting movie

  • "And when he gets to heaven to peter he says reporting for duty sir. " The words of my uncle. KIA vietnam. killed by grenade under his ass to save friend.

  • Best Film Ever!

  • I was a UN soldier in Bosnia Herzegovina in 1993-1994.

Merry christmas to all, war is never the right solution. After my UN service I rarely am happy anymore. But as time goes by,I walk through.

Never forget WW2 and these troubled days. I dedicate this song to all the fallen, and theire families all over the world.

  • Damn. That's all I can say, other than beautiful.

  • So sad. Close to 2400 us soldiers were killed in action that day on Omaha Beach

  • @StonewallJackson26 I thought it was more than that.

  • @StonewallJackson26 And just realised that it's you.

  • @berserker276 I think the earliest estimates of US dead on Omaha was 2,000. Now I think that figure is between 2300-2600. See the figures vary, because the seriously wounded could not be evacuated, because of very intense enemy fire. So many wounded in action, bled out on the beach. So KIA, might be 2400. Total dead, including the wounded who died hours later, might be over 3000.

  • @berserker276 One thing I never understood about the film was Sean Ryan(James Ryan's brother) was portrayed as being killed as part of the 29th Infantry Division, that hit the beaches with the 2nd Ranger battalion. The 29th ID was nicknamed "North and South" as a Civil War reference. Sean Ryan is supposed to be from Iowa.

Well the only regiment from the 29th that fought on Omaha was the 116th Infantry Regiment. Which was composed of Virginians, not Iowans. Maybe he transferred?

  • @StonewallJackson26 No idea lol.

  • this melody is a tribute to all Allied soldiers who liberated the world from fascism and tyranny

  • I used to save privates. But then I took a bullet in the knee.

  • @FifinatorKlon unoriginal dick posting stupid shit on something that has meaning

  • @ckotherletters I love you too. Merry Christmas.

  • I have little or no connection to the great war, my great-grandfather got out of Germany when Hitler got in, and all my immediate family is likely 3rd generation Canadian or more... farmers. But Spielbergs masterpiece is just incredible... but it's likely we'll face such a tragety as this in the decade to come if Governments don't take it in themselves to stand up to their owners.

  • Every time I hear this soundtrack I think of my grandpa.

  • @Empreur500 You meant to send me that message?

  • :,)

  • long live the free people. god bless america and save the quene

  • No book, no lecture, or any other movie could give me a better depiction of war, than Spielberg's masterpiece. This is one of the few movies that has brought me to tears, and the only movie to bring me tears of pride.

  • @glignox B=D

  • @mousekaboom11 unamerican

  • @glignox Same man, im going to join the Royal Navy. Everytime i hear this song it brings me to tears because of the pride and the respect i have for the fallen service Personel.

  • @glignox I agree. The Pacific miniseries from Hanks also had that effect on me

  • @berserker276 Lol stalk me much bro?:P

  • @TaylorGerrior Yea, you're hot.

  • this movie show us tht we can remember them as a hero

and give their lives to us and we can never forget them

we will always remember them what they did

peace for all the soldiers in WW2

  • As long as they keep showing this film in TV, WW2 soldiers will always be remembered. Film like this shows more than a history lesson because it clearly shows what it was like.

  • the soldiers of WW2 will not not be forgotten, they protected form all evil that existed, they died for us, they are true heros

  • we have forgotten that the price of liberty is eternal vigilance. we will never stop fighting to protect it. now it is 24 hours from being truly gone. we must fight. we must band together my brothers. for liberty is priceless, and it is the greatest gift we could possibly give our children and grandchildren.

  • my grandpa was at pointe du hoc as a sgt. and stayed after the war in germany and met my grandma and he still has nightmares about this day

  • Dear Madam

I’ve been shown in the files of the war department a statement of the adjutant general of Massachusetts that you are the mother of five sons who have died gloriously on the field of battle. I feel how weak and fruitless must be any words of mine that I attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss over whelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering to you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the republic they died to save.

  • I pray that our heavenly father may have swaged the anguish of your bereavement and leave you only the cherish memory of the loved lost and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid such costly a sacrifice upon the alter of freedom.

Yours very sincerely and respectfully Abraham Lincoln

  • R.I.P Victor Coppersmit Red bull Machine gunner 43rd.

  • So beautfiul. Reminds me of my Grandfather who landed with the 1st Infantry Division on Omaha Beach on June 6th. He was wounded in action in the Ardenne Forest during the Battle of the Bulge but returned in time to cross the Rhine and move into Czechoslovakia to end the war

He passed away peacefully in 2001 and he always told me that this was the most realistic movie he'd ever seen with a soundtrack to match it and this was his favorite song.

RIP Richard Violette you will never be forgotten

  • Can't wait WW3! Like that i won't have to die of starvation or sickness when we'll be 20 billions on earth. War is in the human nature, it's ugly as hell, it's useless, worthless and total waste. But what can we do?
