well the guy kinda deserved getting pushed over seemed like he was being a cocky shit and ignoring the police when telling him to move sure he dint deserve death unfortunate accident but yeah i think the copper did what most would have done
think the whole thing is ridiculous. things got out of hand that day and tehre were many cases of the police being out numbered and surrounded. ok this might have been a little too forcful. but surely you see that many policce behind you, and with dogs, trying to move you along.. you walk a bit faster no?.too many people want to blame the police for everything. they do their job, and a good job at that. its the anarchists people need to point the blame at. ruining peaceful protests like children
So you in the UK should find this copper and take care of him the right way. Act like he is the opposing team at a football match and kick his ass until he cries like a baby for his mum.
Ian Tomlinson wasnt pushed, he was jabbed really hard in the back with the end of a baton.
Such a 'blunt instrument' blow causes haemorrages & internal bleeding. A trained police officer would be aware of this... exactly what the officer intended when he made this cowardly, sadistic attack has not been revealed (or admitted), but some may say not just manslaughter, but murder charges. Dodgy cops in the cover up ... conspiracy to pervert the course of justice
Tough job that its easy to criticise but none of us could or would do.Like all jobs you get good employees and bad ones. Most coppers I feel do a difficult job under tough circumstances & the cop who unjustly lashed out at this innocent man will have to account for his actions. I am glad video cameras are so cheap that this type of action is easily captured these days. I do know that I if I see someone robbing/attacking a house/person, calling the cops is the 1st thing I do. They aint all bad.
this is typical of The Metropolitan police - I was involved in the wapping strike in the 80s and I was hit on the head with a truncheon and I had to have 10 stitches in it - I did nothing - In the miners strike the met police had a reputation for causing trouble - The other forces all knew there was going to be trouble when the met arrived - I hope the policeman involved rots in prison for the rest of his life.
i just cant believe some of u are taking sides with the police so many times this has happend all u have to do is look up police brutality on here and ull see all the disgusting things they get away with
evan if he was standing ther with his middle finger up 2 them it doesnt realy excuse the fact tht the policeman murderd ian they say it was a heart attack but we later found owt it was internal bleeding surely thats manslaughter nw if a man protecting his family kills another man he would go prison this policeman has no other excuse than he was walking slowly infront of me with his hands in his pockets i think he should be jailed 4 life with no paroll
the police had a very difficult job trying to keep this unruly mob under control who werne't protesting for political means, but there to just cause trouble no matter what these anarchists sprout. The general public hate anarchists, and hate the causers of trouble, and hate police brutalility.
Just saying we all need to look at each side of this case
Yes I agree. They're a bunch of swine, chimps really, perhaps thats unfair. Did they really think they could walk out of their houses, onto tubes, into their jobs....all this when the 28 leaders of the world are in city?
Of course they'd have to take sides. If they'd bothered to co-operate, their bosses might have understood, and everyone could have closed up shop. By going to work, they knew they were risking being caught in a kettle. Right out in the open. Lets have some more sides please.
I'm not saying this was a good thing or what the police officer did was right.
however, did anyone else note he was taking the piss? Purposdesly walking slowly infront of police dogs, as a dog trainer for the army I know this can turn extremely ugly as a dog is meant to attack someone whose within a grasp of the handler unless told NOT to, which I doubt the dog has been if you look at its stance.
not only that the mans attitude signifies he was trying to make life hard for the police (cont)
I keep seeing police officers with helmets and then scarves or masks to leave only thier eyes visible. The slapping cop had no number visible and was wearing a heavy duty glove that looks as tho it was designed for the purpose of bruise free slapping. Are these issued, the gloves and face masks or are they diy items that officers are developing for themselves.
The 'masks' are fire retardant balaclavas, issued to try to protect officers from inhaling burning vapors when 'protesters' are trying to set them on fire. The heavy duty gloves are also standard issue and are designed to help protect officers hands when 'protesters' are hitting them with the variety of weapons that they carry around on these so called peaceful protests.
To me it looked like he was trying to walk slowly infront of the riot police after being told to move on, as for the commentator stating he was walking home from work? dressed like that? in the heart of the city? give me a break.......he was a trouble maker like the rest of the great unwashed there.....
not everyone who works in the city has a job you have to wear a suit for, he was on the way to a football match which is why he is wearing a football shirt
I have a life and dont need to sit on my PC all day like a stalker, I am fairly wealthy and believe that my LARGE tax deduction was split on the government, Cleaning up pointless Greenpeace riots and homeless alcoholics to be rehabilitated,
If there is anything i have learned its that coca cola tastes like shit and people resort to personal insults when they cannot handle a debate,
he was purposely walking slowly to hold the police up.....purposely keeping his back to them as a sign of dis-respect......he must have heard them shouting at him to move along but purposely chose to ignore them. Its sad that he died of heart failure afterwards but if hed have just done as he was told then maybe he would still be alive today...or maybe not...maybe he would have had a heart attack at that particular time no matter where he would have been
Well even if he did that , they had no reason to push him ... what treat does a old man like him pose ? they should just went around him ... but in they , in the genius of the police officer knew that he will harm them with his ability to kill any police officer in front of him ... that's why ... :|
Everyone lied to get the police lynched when actually the wanker was there of his own free will, no job, no home, alcoholic and liable for a heart attack despite if a ned knocked him down or the police!!! We're in a recession & you wankers protesting cost the WORKING MAN £5 MILLION.
People that make outright lies and can't make points intelligently shouldnt have waste the time of the working man who has bettered himself. You RPlacehold are a drain on society with whatever feeble agenda you're forwarding.
ps add some friends to your profile. SUbscribing to just one girl makes you look like a psychotic stalker.
@RPlacehold so because he's homeless makes him less of a person than you does it? He did have a job working at a newspaper stand, he had a home which he was trying to get to but the police wouldn't listen to him when he said that's what he was doing. Would you not be slightly pissed off if you couldn't get to where you were going? Don't put a price on freedom either, it may cost the "working man" £5 million but would you prefer that £5 million, or would you prefer freedom of speech?
a muslim terrorist would be treated better by the british legal system by a single mum who has stolen a tin of beans, why?? because of a mixture of fear, poltical correctness and backwardness
This is real the result of the London G8: in other words, Gordon Brown's, supposed success on the world stage, which involved pledging to spend another a trillion dollars that we don't have, and the killing of an innocent man
No!! the BRITISH police would not want to rock that boat, they know there would be protests bombing and god knows what if that happened, Muslim scum have more rights now than anyone, and by the way this incident has nothing to do the G8 it's the arrogance of british police
this bloke should have gone home the first time, so much for all that crap "oh he was on his way home from work" funny how u lot ignore the fact he had to be moved out the way earlier for blocking the police, he was not innocent, he was commiting a criminal offence, obstruction, god bless the police

I think that announcement merits wider attention.
The police have already tried to dampen this story - by bringing forward the anti-terror raids in the north-west this story has been dropped down to third in news bulletin list. Is it just coincidence that the media are invited to film a 'the police are good guys' story?

LAW STATES if no member of the public has made a verified complaint against you then there is no case!!
No victim No crime No "Corpis Delicti"
google corpis delicti and see.
The police are NOT there to make complaints in their views. ONLY to enforce the law and protect the innocemt.
With no victim your innocent. See what i mean. Its all about revenue.
