Great vid, i been intrigued latly by the vast network of neurons. But i have a few questions

Why exactly do we need synapses? Why cant the neurons be ever connected?

Also with this vid towards the end at the tip of the neurons what are the things that are moving? not the neurotransmitters but the brown shape with the thing attached to it?

to explain some things. i did this for a university and i only uploaded this video here because my employer wanted to see my advances. there was a fully finished version wich had camera angles, music and oh yeah audio.

i uploaded this and never saw it til now and lol there is a lot of people talking about it.

you guys are dumbasses what hes explaining is a synapse not a synapsis...the differrence is that a synapsis has to do with cell division meiosis/mitosis...and a synapse is what hes talking about which has to do with nerve cells...lmfao have fun wasting your time...

I can't give a lecture about it (500 character limit), but it's a standard neurological synapses. I don't know which neurons are connecting, so I can't say exactly what it's doing. The neurotransmitter is sending a signal to the receptor to do something, and at the end is the reuptake (or clearing away) of the used chemicals. A drug like cocaine slows down the reuptake of dopamine, which gives it that stimulating effect, if that makes it easier to understand.
