You will be walking through snow, don't kid yourself. Your Chucks? Chuckie Taylors? Canvas is WAY too thin, your ankles will freeze just from the temps. And snow in your socks REALLY bites, so ankle high or just a bit more, I'd say.

I dunno, depends on where I'm at
-Cheap Beer- hangin' with friends and goin' under by the end of the night
-Sex on the Beach- club and don't have to drive (uh, esp if not the one paying)
-K Cider- drinking by myself, but still may go out later so don't want to go under
-Arbor Mist (or any cheap wine)- me myself and I watching anime all night...and going under, that is hitting the floor hard by the end of the night

Actually, I really do hate being cold. I typically only walk .5 miles to campus and back everyday though

Plan on taking the train home. It's pretty cheap- bus is about $200, train is $300 (round trip)
and if I will be walking through snow, then that girl was a jackass to laugh at me. she's snooty, poor thing.
