I read a short story where the characters from P&P meet the characters from Frankenstein. It was quite good. The frumpy sister and Victor Frankenstein almost fall in love. But the monster kind of ruins in by digging up one of the sisters who dies and trying to force Frankenstein to reanimate the corpse to be his bride.
Heh, no - I really don't. If I did, I'd have been able to remember the main character's name... I just happened to think apricot jam would substitute for it perfectly.
I've heard a lot of other people say the same things about Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which makes me sad, because I was really excited about the idea of it.
I am however, SO GLAD that you enjoyed Lost in Austen, because despite the fact that I can't stand reading any of Jane Austen's work, I picked up Lost in Austen at the bargain book store because it looked fun. Now I extra can't wait to read it.
I didn't even know there was a book! Although, it turns out the TV series and the book just happen to share a name and that's where the similarity ends.
P&P&Z was terribly disappointing, really. I don't regret reading it, but I just wish it had been MORE.
would of been interesting if Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, characters where all zombies...wait... that won't work, it just be a few hundred pages of "BRAAAIIINS" unless they were a slightly more talkative.
Then again Marvel did produce a series of comics where the entire Marvel universe were turned into zombies.

Who do you think wrote that, Joss Whedon? You want the zombies to "mean" something. Pshaw.
Oh, how tempted am I to rewrite Dracula without vampires.... :D

Ah, admit it, you totally had a copy of "Lost in Austen", but you wanted to find a clever way to not break our not quite so secret food rule. ;)

If it worked for Marvel, then I'm sure it'd work for Pride and Prejudice! It could be a lot of fun, turning them all into zombies.
