On the off chance surgery may restore his life, (6 months - 2 yrs) they performed a quadtruple bypass. To their amazement, his heart was beating again.10 days in intensive care and 8 more wks regular hospital care followed. No questions were every asked, budgets considered, or money asked for. Yes, they are going to push SUICIDE to cut Medicare spending! Health care will be denied based on age. $500 bil will be cut from seniors healthcare. The only way for that to happen is to drastically cut health care, the oldest and sickest will be cut first.
Obama wants to create a "death panel" that would deny care to the neediest Americans. You will have to stand in front of Obama's 'death panel' so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their 'level of productivity in society,' whether they are worthy of health care. The Democratic health care bills would encourage euthanasia. The reform plans will lead to rationing, or the government determining which medical procedures a patient can have.
For gods sake use some common sense. Its people like you that make America look bad. There is not going to be a "death panel" because unlike Bush, Obama actually has intelligence. I always believed Palin was a fraud. She took the money of the oil companies in Alaska and redistributed it to the citizens of that state. It truely is. The media made Obama seem all knowing and richeous and to be the one. And they made McCain look pretty shitty for the most part, but McCain was too damn stupid to get tough on Obama. Never attacked any of his troubling past issues (rev Wright, Ayers, affilitation with SEIU). When the guys at FOX news run a better campaign for McCain than McCain did, well he deserved to lose.

McCain attacked Bill Cunningham much harder for saying Obama's middle name than he attacked Obama in the entire campaign.
McCain is a fraud and the fact that Sarah Palin was even chosen by him kinda raises a few questions about her too.
At this point, Mitt Romney is the only guy that I think has a chance in 2012. Romney socialized Health Care in MA, but at least he was apologetic about it and was Governor of a very Liberal state, so he couldn't govern from the right too much to his credit.

Idiots.Here's an example of gov't health care in Canada. My dad had a fatal heart attack. He was kept alive on life support while been flown 2 hours to The Canadian Heart Institute. On the off chance surgery may restore his life, (6 months - 2 yrs) they performed a quadtruple bypass. To their amazement, his heart was beating again.10 days in intensive care and 8 more wks regular hospital care followed. No questions were every asked, budgets considered, or money asked for. On page 425 of the proposed bill, it says that everyone on social security (will include all senior citizens & SSI people) will go to MANDATORY counseling every 5 yrs to learn & to choose from ways to end your suffering (and your life). Yes, they are going to push SUICIDE to cut Medicare spending! Health care will be denied based on age. $500 bil will be cut from seniors healthcare. The only way for that to happen is to drastically cut health care, the oldest and sickest will be cut first.

Obama wants to create a "death panel" that would deny care to the neediest Americans. You will have to stand in front of Obama's 'death panel' so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their 'level of productivity in society,' whether they are worthy of health care. The Democratic health care bills would encourage euthanasia. The reform plans will lead to rationing, or the government determining which medical procedures a patient can have.

If America really had "world class healthcare", 47 million people wouldn't be without coverage.
As for what you're calling socialism, it's giving a damn about other people besides yourself, and wanting other people to have what you have too. In this case, health care coverage.
Up here, while I'm not sure how it works in other provinces, every citizen in BC has to have MANDATORY basic health coverage. If you make under a certain amount each year, the government pays for it for you.

All Americans do have healthcare. Anybody in the U.S. can walk into a hospital and be treated for whatever illness etc. you have. All that's needed is regulation and a billing system based on fair income practices. Not a Socialist takeover. Gov is too intrusive, and needs to begin common sense spending and deficit reduction reform. The GDP continues to drop, the economy is 2x worse than expected. Irresponsible Gov growth will do nothing but retard recovery. They do this on purpose you know.

Because it's the right thing to do. I'm willing to bet if you were the illegal left without insurance, having access to medical care would suddenly become more much important to you. A lot of the people looking down their noses at the uninsured would suddenly change their minds in a rush if something happened and they were not covered anyore.
