have you tried reconnecting the ps eye? i restarted my computer and set up the microphone thru Sound in Control panel.

I plug in my eye then I click on the CL eye to use it and it says no camera found. It also doesn't install the ps eye correctly and says it didn't connect install properly.

I have a Widows Vista Dv600 I hate it! Does your CPU go up to 100% almost all the time when you are not doing anything? My laptop is always in 100%. You don't know anything about that? How to fix it? Thanks! Reply fast! Don't wait a month or a year to reply.lol.

Works great for me, i have only one question;

That camera has two exit modes; compressed and not compressed, making the file "cleye.config" you can access to high frame rates modes, but, what the way to turn the camera into compressed/not compressed mode? What can we suppose when we capture with amcap with no recompression?

It works! You have to install once, and then after the install you should see a button that says "credits" in the lower left hand corner of the device manager for the the "CL-EYE Device Manager" window. Click on that, follow the link, and then download the driver and you'll be up and running in no time. Just make sure to restart your computer when prompted. Worked for me; good luck!

so then you run your hardware wizard and if you were having the problem I was were it keeps telling you that you are missing a .dll and need it from a disk, that is when you chose browse, then you go to the location of those .dll in your program files and pick the ones it says it needs. Hardware wizard should finish correctly, and on my first test my cam worked which honestly I was surprised it actually worked. also if your WinUSBCoInstaller2.dll downloaded as a .rar get winrar, itll fix it.

ok check this out, I figured it out. when you run CL eye driver the green icon, and it actually installs correctly, lmao you plug in your cam, then your hardware wizard is like stupid for the most part, at any case I downloaded winrar, and got the file it said it missing, also when you install the green icon, it puts a folder in program files called code laboratories, click the next folder and you find the .dll files you are about to need.

Hey, when I plugged mine in, and did the hardware wizard it said the file WinUSBCoInstaller2.dll on ps3EYE Installation Disk is needed.

Type a path or browse where the file is, if I just grab that file from somewhere and put it on my comp this should work then right?

it worked right man, just that when I clicked 'start capture' it took me to OPEN n never SAVE. So I went an open what I thought it would. That OPEN box closed and when I doub clicked the PS EYE CAM TEST it says NO CAM FOUND. I redownloaded the program and did step by step again and it still wont work. What now???

Dude can you help?? I've downloaded the drivers and the CL-Eye test works and so does dubut video but cant get msn/yahoo to work. Also been wanting to use the augmented reality on the smirnoff site. Is there something in settings i need to change? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks! I already had the drivers, but needed better software to actually capture the vid.  This is MUCH better. Instead of ending up with 1gb files and jumpy video, I'm getting files under 20mb for the same length, and it's smooth as hell.

My ps eye works perfect for picture but instead of sound I get a just noise. Except on msn messenger but ONLY when its a webcam talk, anything else would do same noise just as in youtube.

I've got the video working the mic works as well but I'd like to change the mic settings. I'd like to up the level but windows won't allow me to change any setting and it's not being verified as an array mic with the microsoft validation tool. Running win 7 64bit. Any ideas?

That's useful. But it's better to get a good headset with mic for PS3 than a Bluetooth or a PS3 eye unless you want video too.
