Ive never drive AMG 600 and I wont do that cuz of one good reason - money. The Preowned Kawasaki costs aproximatelly 800 pounds, amg 20k pounds. Kawasaki takes 6 litres, maybe 9. AMG burns 40. Full service for Kawasaki: carbs, oil, tires, brakes, chain and few things costs something about 500, AMG 10 times more. And the most important thing - both are toys - just for fun, for few seasons.

@droceretik I don't get this obssession with bike v car at all. Of course a top supercar will trump a bike at the top end it simple physics. Yes off the mark a quick bike has far less inertia to deal with but once rolling a Veyron or top Merc seen here will move on to higher top speeds. But to be honest does it matter?
The difference is the guy on the bike is literally holding on for dear life while the gent in the CL is probably smoking a fat cigar and listening to Mozart. I guess it's up to you which sounds best!
I suggest to get a zzr1100 with some upgrade. mine from 1996 has 150hp and goes 350km/h. So you can also get the hayabusa if you like susuki. Or even better: Get a life!

@FUCK202 haha, you could hit a 4 foot wide pot hole at these speeds and not even feel it. The bike would float right over it and sport bike tires are so low profile a blowout is easily controlable. If your a good rider the only thing you need to look out for is cars switching lanes.

@pazzoallaguida You make confusion. I didn't write to the rear wheel or drive shaft, you did. 159 hp for 1999 model at the crankshaft. Latest model is quoted at 197 hp at the crankshaft. 2008 model 194 hp.
It stands to reason that if the 159 hp, 1999 model Hayabusa achieved 317 kph then the latest model with 197 hp and unrestricted, would be faster. Are you arguing that Guinness Book Of Records is wrong? "Motociclismo" is one of many magazines with a good reputation. You should read more.
@droceretik i read more..i assist the tests in the balocco ring as you'll have understood..it's a part of my job if you want..i think it's a printin error..the first model hayabusa in europe went out with 176hp..and now in every test is slower than that..even if 25hp to the wheel more powerful..for many motivations,the worse CX for example, as for the guinness the record is clear,but the conditions aren t, as for speedo it is,in the most of the bikes tachos've a similar error (a part from BMW)

@droceretik thanks for the kind guy, but your informations are wrong..this is the point..the top speed achieved for the WGR is 312..and in convenient conditions..in ANY OTHER TEST of the world the bike didn t overtake 305km/h (just in an other trial for the guinness with 310km/h), and in several cases it didn t reach even 300 (296-298 from various magazines)..in the end the power you meant was to the wheel, and the test was repeated till 2008 with worse results even though the increased power.

@droceretik The CL 600 has over 600hp, the AMG more. A CL55 was clocked by an American magazine at over 180, it has just over 500 Hp. A derestricted 600 will hit 190 plus without any problems, in the right condition 200 without a doubt. Sorry this was not a dragrace it was a top end run and a Benz would have no problem doing what this video shows.
@droceretik Sorry was thinking of the newer version, this model would have just about 500 hp, but right at 600 lb of torque. It's 0-60 is 4.3, and no that is not the AMG that is the CL, and that is a 2 ton car. It's time from 30-50 time is 2.4 seconds. So if it comes out the hole that fast and weights what it does, you can imagine top end is not much of a problem with the limiter off. The car is awesome so please give it props.

@droceretik this is a zxr 750 ccm ( about 130 bhp ) // the second possibility would be a zxr 400 (which hardly reaches the 200kmh), and seriously the zxr 750 goes real nicely (i beside own one myself) but after 200kmh a real good powered cars is superior to this bike. hardly my stock gsxr 1000 stands a chance above 240 kmh ...
@biscionenero Enjoy your life and ride safe! I find 750's are plenty fast enough for the road as my limit is 110 kph and also the limit is not the bike but my riding skills. Really, a good 750 will do 0-100 kph (60mph) in 3.5 secs and a 1000 in 3 secs. So what would we do with the extra half sec?:) After 6 seconds I'm at 160 kph on a GSXR 750 Suzuki and 180 kph on a GSXR 1000. I would lose my licence for 12 months and $1,000 fine for both. At track 750 is weapon and beats a 1000 if good rider.
i am still alive, and i cant remeber having gone that fast again, as i owned my tuned r1 it did aroudn 334km/h on the speedo, which where about 300 for real, that was fast enough for the "autobahn"
i lost this bike years ago in an accident, so i now own a zxr750 l which is quite doing still fine, even so a bit powerlos after 50k km on the engine but still fast enough for some good corner driving and going on the track for fun purposes.
@biscionenero having owned a ZXR 400 in the past before getting a k6 750 the ZXR 400 actually tops out at just over 230kmh.. this is an older model ZXR 750 pre P1 models.

You made claims but have not backed up these claims with your sources of information. Top Speed of the 1999 Hayabusa as measured by the Guinness Book of Records 2000 & 2004 edition is 317KPH. Have you got better information? This model = 159 hp. Later models over 190 hp.

@pazzoallaguida You make confusion. I didn't write to the rear wheel or drive shaft, you did. 159 hp for 1999 model at the crankshaft. Latest model is quoted at 197 hp at the crankshaft. 2008 model 194 hp.
It stands to reason that if the 159 hp, 1999 model Hayabusa achieved 317 kph then the latest model with 197 hp and unrestricted, would be faster. Are you arguing that Guinness Book Of Records is wrong? "Motociclismo" is one of many magazines with a good reputation. You should read more.

@droceretik i read more..i assist the tests in the balocco ring as you'll have understood..it's a part of my job if you want..i think it's a printin error..the first model hayabusa in europe went out with 176hp..and now in every test is slower than that..even if 25hp to the wheel more powerful..for many motivations,the worse CX for example, as for the guinness the record is clear,but the conditions aren t, as for speedo it is,in the most of the bikes tachos've a similar error (a part from BMW)

@droceretik thanks for the kind guy, but your informations are wrong..this is the point..the top speed achieved for the WGR is 312..and in convenient conditions..in ANY OTHER TEST of the world the bike didn t overtake 305km/h (just in an other trial for the guinness with 310km/h), and in several cases it didn t reach even 300 (296-298 from various magazines)..in the end the power you meant was to the wheel, and the test was repeated till 2008 with worse results even though the increased power.

@droceretik The CL 600 has over 600hp, the AMG more. A CL55 was clocked by an American magazine at over 180, it has just over 500 Hp. A derestricted 600 will hit 190 plus without any problems, in the right condition 200 without a doubt. Sorry this was not a dragrace it was a top end run and a Benz would have no problem doing what this video shows.

@droceretik Sorry was thinking of the newer version, this model would have just about 500 hp, but right at 600 lb of torque. It's 0-60 is 4.3, and no that is not the AMG that is the CL, and that is a 2 ton car. It's time from 30-50 time is 2.4 seconds. So if it comes out the hole that fast and weights what it does, you can imagine top end is not much of a problem with the limiter off. The car is awesome so please give it props.

@droceretik this is a zxr 750 ccm ( about 130 bhp ) // the second possibility would be a zxr 400 (which hardly reaches the 200kmh), and seriously the zxr 750 goes real nicely (i beside own one myself) but after 200kmh a real good powered cars is superior to this bike. hardly my stock gsxr 1000 stands a chance above 240 kmh ...

@biscionenero Enjoy your life and ride safe! I find 750's are plenty fast enough for the road as my limit is 110 kph and also the limit is not the bike but my riding skills. Really, a good 750 will do 0-100 kph (60mph) in 3.5 secs and a 1000 in 3 secs. So what would we do with the extra half sec?:) After 6 seconds I'm at 160 kph on a GSXR 750 Suzuki and 180 kph on a GSXR 1000. I would lose my licence for 12 months and $1,000 fine for both. At track 750 is weapon and beats a 1000 if good rider.

i am still alive, and i cant remeber having gone that fast again, as i owned my tuned r1 it did aroudn 334km/h on the speedo, which where about 300 for real, that was fast enough for the "autobahn"
i lost this bike years ago in an accident, so i now own a zxr750 l which is quite doing still fine, even so a bit powerlos after 50k km on the engine but still fast enough for some good corner driving and going on the track for fun purposes.

B12016 some of us prefer that discomfort in exchange for the pure adrenalin rush that 2 wheels gives us that no car ever could (short of parting with the thick end of 100 grand or so for the privilage).Us mere mortals with small wallets need the balls out thrills that the ZX gives in exchange for so little cash. Yes your merc world is comfy and reassuringly luxurious and yes your supercharged merc would no doubt win the day but, given the choice, I can't see the same thrill in 4 wheels sorry.
