The original is mesmerizing...

Liam has been voted into the top ten best rock vocalists ever for his 90's vocals so you are sort of calling yourself one of the best vocalists ever by saying you're better than him but hey, that's fine... Liam is easily as cocky.

I like this cover a lot, it's beautiful and the guitar playing is very fluent... It has a very different sort of feel, that I feel is on a better technical standard but does not capture the same emotion at all.

What you've got to realise is that Liam is in oasis for a reason, IMO Noel is oasis, but liam is the better vocalist for most of their songs. That's the reason why oasis sell out stadiums and you play in a living room.

If i could give you one tip, is to stop trying to rip of paulo nutini and his vocals and try to create something original, because you have a fantastic talent but you will only be seen as a talent if you dont do something original.
