My cat, Sassy is the same way XD Don't give her attention and she just moves right in, screaming bloody murder XD I constantly have to move her while on the computer or trying to sleep. Heck, she even demanded for me to put both her old and new collar on her since she refused to wear only one XD

Only other cat to act like that was my late cat, Salem, who did that more with my mom in being demanding. But not as bad, mostly he just wanted to see what she was doing.

My cat does the same thing when I'm working or playing games on my laptop. If he gets really impatient, he'll actually jump high enough to tap me on my shoulder with both paws. That's when I usually relent and let him jump up.

another reason why hes demanding is theres no food in the dish. cats wanna be able to be free to eat whenever they want. FYI...they arent like dogs who are stupid cause they eat & eat & eat till they over eat that they wind up puking. theres 3 things that matter most to a cat: food...sleep...clean litter box. if one or all of those is compromised...you'll wind up getting more attention cause hes begging for 1 or all of those needs to be met.

@PURE80SADDICTION Clearly, this cat is at least a little overweight. Some cats do fine with unlimited access to food, but others need to have their diets more regulated to keep them healthy. Some cats just have more attention-seeking personalities, while others are more independent. It is very clear that this cat is fed more than adequately.

yahhhhhh i can agree with that. my cats follow me around like im made of catnip. it all depends on how u raise a cat. all my cats are/were my children & can be very demanding but know a majority of the time it stems from something they are lacking other than attention. once i feed em the daily tuna & they still want attention...then i know they are naggin me to go to sleep cuz without me sleepin...they dont get much sleep.

yah...my cat has def beat anorexia too. hes at 32lbs now. the both get fed nutro & 1 cat of tuna a day. i treat em as how id wanna be treated. he likes to be considered as big boned & cant feed him certain parts of the day or id have to seperate em cuz the other one doesnt have a wide load & if they are seperated...they'd have a coronary. they are borth rescue cats. whitey weighs 14lbs. buddy weighed 22lbs when i got him 6mos ago & now blimped to 32lbs.
