That's no excuse for sullying the real deal (who is and will forever be more popular and successful than the TV Alucard in which Gonzo failed to put any good effort into animating and puts on a face that can make even babies laugh.)

Yeah, that was terrible writing that didn't make sense given how Incognito tanked heavy blessed silver bullets in a weaker form. Also it was OVA 8, Alucard didn't appear in OVA 7 at all. The canonical Alucard had alot more character/personality and badassery than this sad childish spin-off that disgraced Kouta Hirano's masterpiece.

As much as I love the OVA, it can't top some parts of this series. I liked how Alucard was portrayed in this series. In the manga and OVA, he acts like the Terminator, and honestly, he's a very simple character, just a death junkie, but here, he's given a far more interesting personality. Plus, the smoother, softer voice and personality suit him better then how he's portrayed in the OVA/manga.

Alucard, the vampire king himself, Dracula, who's pretty much immortal, can regenerate from being blown to small pieces easily, and doesn't sucumb to regular vampric weaknesses.

Not a good match up, no offence, Alucard should be against a vampire hunter or another vampire, and Godzilla should be against another B-movie monster.

English dub is better I think, there's no jap words in it as there is English talking in the actual Jap voice over anime :P
