@polkadotskull im not sure of the exact looms you've seen but if you do a google search to find them or look at your local craft store you may be able to find what your looking for....cathy@mikeys helpdesk :)
Your awesome! This video helped me a lot! Your videos helped me make 2 hats and 4 scarfs for Christmas presents! I want to buy your loom now! Happy Holidays!!
You are awesome! I´ve had a rectangular loom sitting in my closet for more than four years left from my son´s first grade class Christmas project with an unfinished scarf on it-I finished it last night and started another one using your tutorial and I am HALF way done! It took me four years to finish one scarf because I couldn´t get the knack of the loom and thanks to your videos and enthusiasm in two days I am finishing a second scarf! I am so excited! I love the looms!
I LOVE all of your videos!!! You have turned me into a knitter and I NEVER thought I could do such fun projects. I am so happy that you offer these videos for free. Since watching your preemie hat tutorial, I have made 15 preemie hats and am looking forward to donating them to our local hosp. Over xmas break, I plan to make several kids hats for my students who do not have appropriate winter wear! I am so thankful to have found your videos. You are the only one I watch!
Hi my name is Nelly I am from Peru, Lima and I'm a fan of the fabric and the loom is one of them, and I am interested in buying I've seen your video, please if you could tell me how I can buy and its price, is that here there are none. Thanks I hope your kind response to my e nellyali@hotmail.com
@Alissamariemurphy hello this is chanel from mikeys helpdesk.....mikey isn't taking any requests for videos right now because of time restraints but keep your eye out for what he has coming out! he will do a video here and there when he has the time!
I also love your vids. I can't stop looming. I've made a scarf and hat, and now I'm making another scarf. So easy. I'm always trying something new. So I tried to put beads on my scarf. It worked, but I would like to see if you have a video on how to put beads on. I think it would have worked better if I had a bead needle. The kind that looks like a crochet hook. The beads I used had a jump ring at the end, so I just pulled the thread in the jump ring and over lapped it.
@hummingbird260 hey this is chanel from mikeys helpdesk .....the only video mikey has about applying beads is for crocheting projects! you might want to look around online for looming website and see if you can find any info to help you!
OMG! I love your vids and I live in Fergus! That's sooo cool! BTW: I think you're incredibly talented-thank you so much for sharing your gift with all of us.:)
i saw a project with the serenity loom which was a sleeping bag insert for the cold campers, you just dont horseshoe back but do a continuous stitch then sew the bottom up and then insert it into the sleeping bag. seemed totally worth it to me lol
I love your videos. question: I see alot of peopel making scarves from the round looms and i have been trying but how do we tie off the scarf when your done looming?
I got the Serenity loom too and if you get a pen (one of those that has the removable tip) if you keep the tip attached you can get the wraps done super quick (using one strand of course) - I can knit around more than half the pegs in about 2 minutes. Once you figure out how to twist the loom around to get to those in the middle it's super fast to do a full row
The serenity loom is awesome, I bought it as my very first loom and yes it was intimidating as the instructions are terrible so I looked all over for a tut. but couldnt find one so I put up a real quick basic one on here if you want to check it out. Made a beautiful baby blanket with it REALLY fast using I think around 70-80 of the pegs.
Will you be doing a tutorial with the Serenity loom and maybe show a project you have done with it.. Just really curious as to what it will look like after. It looks amazing though. Thank for the update..

How come whenever I use the rectangular loom, it always ends up being loose? How do you use a loom making it completely tight?

You can also make GREAT flat panels on the round looms.
I use my large round loom (I have the yellow) to make baby blankets all the time. :)
I use stretch lionsbrand yarn though because regular acrylic doesn't give the stretch you need.
