hey, at least you got around to it. i know what its like to try and do tedious work when you dread it. isn't a hot tub a bad idea though? i thought one of the main uses for a spring house is to keep food cool like a refrigerator. maybe that's a different type of spring house idk

Hey jamie could you explain why car batteries couldn't do the same job as your deep cycle batteries for your solar set up?

Car batteries are much cheaper. People say that they don't hold their charge....but does this matter if they are more or less being topped up all the time by the solar panels??

@JMEMantzel many years ago, me and 3 other blokes were climbing up a biggish hill in Cumbria UK, it was a hot summers day and I needed a drink. A spring appeared just in time and I was soon guzzling away at it like a pig at a trough. I looked round and the other 3 were just staring at me and one of them said, "ewwww, you don't know where it's been!" I said, "on the contrary, with this water, I know exactly where it's been!". They actually decided to remain thirsty rather than drink pure water :|

HEY! I am making a suggestion that under no circumstances should you feel forced to act upon , I BELIEVE to make the spring dome look a little nicer (nicer than its already super beautiful outdoors awesomeness) that you should take a bunch of thin-set mortar, and cover the inside joints on the plates, then cover the joints with some oak or ash strips that you can make on your handy-dandy brand spankin' new saw-mill!!! It will look really cool!
