KILL WHITEY. We need more of this message, I'm sick of the white devil poisoning young brothas with this CASH MONEY BIG BOOTY HOES shit on MTV. Fuck these devils. Kill em all!
@chgosatrap 1971 was my 2nd year in high school-and i agree with you -i will Always love the Last Poets-and what is ironic is that they truly were the last poets-nobody today is giving us the powerful message that they did over 30 years ago
@marisdad2412 "Niggers watched Nat Turner Die -Niggers Watched Meger Egars die-Niggers watched James Chaney die-Niggers watched Emmnit Till die-Niggers watch Nigers die-this was a powerful message-and the moral of the story is Die Nigger Die-so BLACK PEOPLE can take over-the last poets were awesome-we need them today
its messed up when you look around now and no new music has any message and recordngs from decades ago are still and possibly even more relevant than ever.
@1:36: no matter what i go thru in life or what happens to me i will never forget who i am or what other folks think of me. i believe in judging people for who they are instead of stereotyping but unfortunately everyone doesn't do things this way.
If anybody ever purchased Too $hort's, Short Dog's In The House album(the cassette version only). At the end of his classic single "The Ghetto", this poem is sampled towards the end of the song.
@TheRefriedMexican You're absolutely right. Only a real hip hop head from back in the day would know about that. I used to have that tape but unfortunately that version is out of print. After Too Short's 4th verse, he says "For all you brothas runnin' around here usin' that "n-word", lets the original rappers kick the last verse", for which then the segment comes in. NWA also sampled excerpts from this for their track "Real Niggaz Don't Die"
LETS FIGHT TYPE II DIEabetes. This is another way we watch eachother die.
