I never said I sat the fence on everything. Look at you, disregarding everything I told you that you are wrong about, and using one thing that you think makes me weak. At least I can think for myself without being sucked into an ideology that tells me what to think and do. I am conservative and liberal, depending on the issue. You live in a world of fear which drives you to hate people you do not know, and despise anyone who doesn't conform to your way of thinking.
Palin isn't a politician, she quit on her constituents who voted her in. So why in the hell does anything she says have any clout. We all need to move on and cleanse this douche from our lives regardless of what the media tells us about her..
@TheRationalBeing I'm sorry I'm confused by your illiterate comment! "She quit on here constituents"? Are you talking about Hillary Clinton and the way she ran out on N.Y. State when she was our governor, in her quest for power?
@TheReformed1 Sorry, I meant Senator. Palin was the governor and at least she saw that she could do more good for this country by spear heading the tea party faction of the republican party. And look how that worked out. Many conservatives were elected into office, ripping power from the arrogance of liberalism. Now said little Barack, has to move to our side of the isle. I soooo enjoy watching him be forced to concede his stupid ideas.
@TheReformed1 Constituent: a citizen who is represented in a government by officials for whom he or she votes. Sorry you are too illiterate to understand what that means. If you can't understand a simple word, how in the fuck are you going to be able to logically argue a political point.
Senator Who? I know you are not saying that Palin is the Senator of Alaska.
So where does Clinton fall into this? What does she have anything to do with Palin and her quitting on the Alaskan voters?
@TheRationalBeing No read the comment moron. People make mistakes. I know what a constituent is. Clinton fits into this in comparison to your comment about Palin bookin on Alaska as Governor. Clinton blew off her constituency in N.Y. state when she ran for the democrat presidential candidacy in in the 2007-08 race. So your point is mute on the Palin thing. Palin went on to do more good for the country. Clinton was just moving to aquire power. BIG diffrence between to two.
@TheReformed1 The point I am making is this. Sarah Palin quit on Alaskan voters 7 months AFTER the elections and left government. What does that have to do with Clinton? It has nothing to do with Clinton. Palin quit on Alaskans, bottom line. Clinton quit on New Yorkers, bottom line. The two acts committed by these individuals are not related. How can you not see this. I believe this would actually render your point moot.
I can see now that you don't mean to be ignorant. Its a natural flaw
@TheRationalBeing I'm going to be the bigger man here and overlook your arrogant comments. You guys on the liberal side, ALWAYS take something and twist it. Palin left her office to go front line with the republican party, because she saw an area where she could be and has become much more effective for the will of the people and helping turn this country back to where it needs to be. She couldn't accomplish that as governor.
@TheRationalBeing Clinton on the other hand, realized an opportunity had come along where she could best serve her own agenda and increase her power, for herself by abandoning her N.Y. senatorial seat in Washington, so could run for the democrat nod for presidential candidate. Two very different motivation. Both woman wanting to serve. Palin, her country, Clinton, herself. Besides that why would you even bring up the point about Palin leaving her post? You guys all say she's stupid and sucked
@TheReformed1 What is Palin's executive office experience? I am interested in your perspective on this.
Do you think all Muslims are potentially violent? How about an American? Do you draw a distinction between the violent acts committed by each, or do you side with one while condemning the other?
You know that terrorist and freedom fighter are one in the same, its the culture making the judgment as to which is which. Our justified war is terrorism to some, is their claim justified?
@TheRationalBeing "What is Palins executive office experience"? "You'e interested in my perspective on this"! What exactly do you think a governor is? I didn't say all muslims are violent. Is that what you think? It's clear to you, on this particular issue, whom I side with. Who do you side with? Are the terms terrorist and freedonm fighter one in the same to everyone's understanding? Or are you trying to insert your understanding of those terms as the "overarching" definition of them?
@TheReformed1 I would hardly consider the ex-Governor of Alaska credentials for running the country. No, I don't think all muslims are violent, I'd guess about 2% hold violent ideologies toward the west. I don't side with anyone. Both are wrong. Using violence to obtain means is wrong, both in war and individual acts. Like I said before, I don't see the world in black and white. I see things that happen through the perspectives of all involved, not just what I am told by the American Media.
@TheRationalBeing If a muslim follows their core beliefs and is faithful to them, then they are for world domination. This is being historically repeated as it was in the days of the crusades, when christianity was forced into retaliation against as Islamic offensive.
@TheRationalBeing Experience in the executive office as a sitting governor, is far more experience than a "community organizer", which if you voted for Obama, that's what you voted for, a "community organizer. So you never take a side? Tell me more about that. See, there is quite a difference.
@TheReformed1 If a christian follows their core beliefs, and are faithful to them, then they are for world domination. The change of one word, and your message still retains its meaning, and is true. Do you think that maybe Muslims might think the same thing about Christianity? I believe they do. So, in conflict, who is right in this situation? See, I understand, that if Christian or Muslim an honest answer cannot be given, for it is biased by allegiance to one side or another.
@TheRationalBeing O.K. GOOD! Now we're getting somewhere. Describe the difference in the obtaining and maintaining world domination, between the christian belief and the muslim belief?
@TheReformed1 Only some one who is neither Christian nor Muslim can answer that question with any truth. Truth is that neither one is right, neither one wrong. They are a difference of opinions that most cultures in this world are based upon, and have gone to war over. So yeah, I'll fence sit this one and be objective instead of having my decisions subjected to religious bias and intolerance.
@TheRationalBeing Fence sitting is not objectivity. It is the inability to make a solid decision and stand by it. That's wonderful that you want to elevate all that you do to a much higher level, than what it is, but again, you're a plain old fence strattler.
@TheReformed1 There would be no difference in world domination. Both would kill to gain, and both would use a tyrannical ideology to maintain supremacy. Freedoms would be lost, books burned, people killed and imprisoned for wayward thought. There is no difference.
@TheReformed1 See, here is where you need to think a little more. Who said there is only one fence and I'm sitting in the middle? I don't choose a side in this conflict because I feel both sides are irrational. I'm sitting on another fence making sure neither one accomplishes what it preaches and both stay the fuck out of my yard. I'm on the front lines, just not in your battle if you are choosing one of these sides.
@TheRationalBeing What's the matter buddy???? Did I ask you a question that your relativistic ( fence straddling ) position in life doesn't want to answer? Try it again. Why do you think of christianity as a tyrannical ideology?
@TheReformed1 If I don't get right back to you it is because I have a life. For christians, there is only one way, and that is it. Would you allow gay marriage? Would you be a proponent of bombing abortion clinics? How tolerant would christianity be toward other religions? You brought up the crusades, but did you know that it was Muslims who allowed christians and jews to still practice their religion in Jerusalem. Christians threw the others out.
@TheReformed1 Look, shit of this nature takes a lot of time to discuss and plan out. I have too much going on at this time in my life and don't have time for these dead end discussions. You are stuck in a mindset of only being able to see life through your perspective alone, which if fine. Its your prerogative to do so. I'm just sorry that the world has people like you in it. You are not even close to experienced in world cultures, and your words show this. Remain ignorant. Have fun.
@TheReformed1 and I come up with an educated critical understanding. You say you choose sides, but you won't declare which side you are taking. I don't take a side because I feel there is no difference between an innocent person killed at the end of an American M-16, and an innocent person killed by someone who blows themselves up. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does the act of killing. I am not blinded by nationality, nor do I blame anyone who is. Our media pushes exceptionalism to the max.
@TheRationalBeing as governor. So what's the deal with that? And besides, no matter how you cut it, a governor with Palins moxy and executive office experience, is always better than a potentially violent, muslim community activist.
@TheReformed1 I bring up Palin leaving her post because she is still talking and trying to influence politics.
To say one woman left to better her country and one woman left to better herself is an opinion, and there is no way that something of that nature can be proven. Although, I wouldn't disagree with you about Clinton, but I would about Palin, for one reason, my opinion of course. I believe all politicians are interested in personal gain and say whatever it takes.
"liberal vermin"? Congratulations, Rundes Viereck. This is one of the more stupid postings I've seen, but apropos for a right-winger. You can't refute the other's arguments, so you resort to name-calling. Do you not understand that you live in a fantasy world in which you perceive yourself as a thinker?
@zappajohn But name calling when unable to refute the other's comments. That makes him a DEMOCRAT LIBERAL REPRESSIVE! Either this guy called it on the money as a right winger and you can't stand it, ( which is probably the case ) or he's an undercover D.L.R. and needs to go as the D.L.R. opinion is NEVER correct!
palin is a compulsive, repetitive, demonstrable liar! Take your pick: -bridge to nowhere -death panels -senior official firings -climate change statements -Alaska’s oil production -habeas corpus -gay rights -trade missions to Russia -husband’s secession sentiments Is there anything she hasn’t lied about? Ill-informed people (who are persistently not incentivized to be well-informed) hear these repeated “lies” and actually believe them.
@townsendjean Well, you are correct about Sarah Palin. She is unelectable. But the more important question is: what do you think about Barack Obama? Your answer to that question will tell us if you are genuine or just some predictably pathetic liberal vermin. Cheers.
The neocons are a bunch of discredited frauds. But let’s not forget that liberal Democrats have followed an identical interventionalist foreign policy. Clinton gave us an unconstitutional “conflict” in Kosovo during which thousands of innocent civilians were murdered. Liberal Democrats had no problem with Clinton signing the Iraq Liberation Act in 1998, which made regime change in Iraq official US foreign policy. Obama’s Secretary of State voted for the Iraq War Resolution. Obama is a fraud.
@youbestbequiet I blame Clinton for 9/11. He was offered Bin Laden on a platter by the Sudan and turned them down. If he would have brought Bin Laden in and tried him 9/11 would have never happened,
no one wants to shut palin up (it's interesting those who are the most guilty always think someone's trying to shut them up). to the contrary, she needs to continue to talk. she's the best thing that ever happened to the democratic party, & the biggest problem the "christian" republicans will have in 2012 mark my words.
so come on palin, let's hear more words of wisdom. i can't wait, should you be a candidate, to see how you cope when you have to face the real media & answer real questions!
@UBSCARED She didn't pull down the graphic, the graphic person did.
