I've been following JB for "35" years and I've never been disappointed in any of his new recordings. Any of his music has a particular essence to make almost anything going on in my life OK. Can't get enough of him. Listen to him allllll the time. Thanks JB for the best music I've ever heard since 1976 when I bought "Late for the Sky" "For Everyman" "The Pretender"! The Man tells it like it is.
Great song. The gangsters that control the govt and media cartel continue to terrorize the planet, and tv-watching dimwits continue to cheer them on. All anyone has to do is go talk with the cops in the big cities, as I have, to verify that whole police departments are accomplices in felony drug dealing, yet the media cartel refuses to report this, and the govt refuses to enforce federal laws to shut this down. On this point alone we see who the real drug dealers/terrorists are. Case Closed.
I am glad to see that this video is on You Tube. Too bad it has only be seen by less than 7000 people. This song helped me survive through living with memories of 2 wars - and that was before this current one. I had written to Jackson Browne - way back when - to thank him for this song and others that at least wake some people up. I guess at the time, his songs were the only time that I felt that someone else understood what I was feeling.
Awesome song and moving video. I first heard this song on Thom Hartmann's radio program on Air America. It's sad that this illegal invasion and immoral occupation is only met with tepid resistance by the majority of the U.S.

Whats sad about this song is that Jackson wrote it a very long time ago and it still holds true today.

This video epitomizes what has gone terribly wrong in our world. God is kept so busy. May peace be restored in Iraq.
