I've already installed Diablo 2 and everything but when I try to play it it says "Diablo 2 has a known problem running with this version of windows." When I click "find possible solutions" or whatever it says there are no solutions. Can someone help me please?
win7 can play a lot of games, old and new, for the old u can select win xp compatibility execute and run it with some type of retrocompatibility, click with right mouse button on the exe file and search in the tab
no need any special driver, i use only the default win 7 driver inside the original dvd, when it check new driver it give you a new versione automatically with windows update sistem, very cool
I'm about to buy a refurbished Eee (one of the old ones, with the 900MHz Celeron chip). Did you have any driver issues when installing Win7? I'm a stickler for this and sometimes even generic drivers don't work well enough.
this video was made with win7 beta versione and it run well, only fix is to set "windows xp compatibily mode sp3", u can chose by click with right button on exe file and chose compatibility tab.
If there were any reason for that, it would probably be trying to run old games on 64-bit machines. Windows's compatibility modes are actually pretty solid.
Blizzard.com go to diablo 2 download patch and play easy that's what i did 100% works on windows 7, vista

you can play the sims 3 (i have it) but Diablo 2 has compatability issues

Diablo 2 works just fine for me on Windows 7. In case you're wondering what computer I'm using, it's an ASUS K60 Laptop.

I just tried installing this on win7 on my EeePC 1000HA-P and it wouldn't start up... Looking online for solutions but I couldn't find anything yet.
Yes I changed compatabillity mode, Didn't help.
