  • Thank you for making this part of MJ history available to the public and in such a neat, 'cleaned up' form. I hope you can keep it up there. Despite his talent, you can see he is still a raw dancer, learning to be comfortable with himself in his 'grown up' body, and a bit shy about his masculinity. Great job!

  • incredible. praise Jah

  • @lexiconlover Thank you so much.

  • I don't think that the theme from Carousel was the original music they were dancing to in this clip... but it's good to see the clip anyway... thanks for posting

  • @ryoko65 No I've linked parts of various different clips and I used the theme from Carousel because I love the music. Thank you very much for commenting.

  • @kindofblue21 I guess I should have also said that it was a good choice and works well with the dancing. (I like the music too! thanks)

  • Just watching him brings tears to my eyes. To watch him dance and move with so much passion and grace, makes me miss him even more. He should be with us to show the world what else we would have been in store for. I miss you much Michael, my angel.

  • Michael worked with the best to be the best. Look at him dancing with the Nicholas brothers. Not any young men of his age back then, allowed themselves the time to dance with these professionals. Michael was the best because he studied the best and they studied him.

  • @61grammy Beautifully put, that's very true.

  • I remember Fred gave Michael a huge compliment as they were good friends. Michael was such a beautiful person, just full of life and beauty. This was truly and wonderful video.

  • @barbiewmn Two sweet, shy but immensely talented men and they liked and admired each other very much.

  • Michael could do anything . There was no limit to his talent!!!

  • @1970mjj I agree. He had enormous natural talent and he was so keen to learn and perfect right from being a little boy.

  • He is not dancing like Fred Astair. he is dancing like The Nicholas Brothers. Google it.

  • TE AMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MICHAEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • very interesting. While he's no Fred Astaire (don't worry, no one else is either) he was still very talented.

  • Hes talented bu he's no fred astaire:)

  • @tramelius17 I think both men were incredibly talented but different. Fred himself liked and admired Michael very much and said he could be his successor. Michael here was 18 years old and had never had a dancing lesson in his life. I think he was amazing.

  • @kindofblue21 MJ had some dancing lessons. He was 'coached' by some members of Electric Boogaloo and he and Janet Jackson were taught tap dance by the Nicholas Brothers.

  • @Spooni3 One or two dancing lessons wouldn't turn the rest of us into Michael Jackson. He was just incredibly talented and he worked so hard to perfect that talent.

  • @kindofblue21 No one is denying MJ's talent and work ethic. MJ modeled that ethic from Fred Astaire's. However, he was 'coached' and taught in some styles of dance, which he continued to work at for however long he did. So, to say that MJ never had a dancing lesson in his life is not entirely right.

  • @tramelius17 you think so?well, check this video and tell me if he was not as good as astaire /watch?v=mwQbH48w2n8&feature=related

  • Who's the girl?

  • @MishuTaste Did you mean the one at the beginning in the orange dress? That's Michael's sister La Toya.

  • @kindofblue21 Damn, I didn't know she danced at that age.

  • @kindofblue21 wawww defenetly he makes her shine all the time, we know her thanks to michael and she allways was a bad sister

  • Michael jackson was The greatest dancer in the whole world, the Greatest intertainer & Greatest Singer Ever ❤❤❤❤❤

There Is Only One Michael Jackson In This World.....May God Rest Your Soul & Hope You Are Now Very Happy & Peacful In God's Regard

    R.I.P Michael Our Precious One❤

  • He was the star of our generation, of the 20th Century. Even in this video he's shining like never befoer...and that's still almost a good 10 years before he conquered the world and shot in to stratosphere!

  • @Stenbrotsgatan I agree with you absolutely. And Fred Astaire himself liked and admired Michael very much and thought he had amazing talent.

  • I really like how at 04.25 it's like a pre-smooth criminal thingy!

  • is it the right music i dont think so man.

  • @joniwhytestar Actually for this type of dancing yes I do think the music is right. If you check out my video Michael Jackson move that Sexy Body you'll see that when Michael is doing completely different type of dancing I use totally different music. On that I use a DJ mix.

  • @kindofblue21 sorry i want to reply and i click on thumb down by accident, how can i remove it?

im sorry, what i meant u should keep the original sound from the vdo kuz i like the sound of the click click while dancin.

  • @joniwhytestar You can't remove it but please don't worry about it. I do quite a lot of Michael videos in their original form but I like to try different things. Thank you so much for coming back to explain.

  • you are so cute Micky

  • miss you michael jackson.

  • thank you so much foruploading and arringing with roger´s music

  • I never knew he appeared in such shows... amazing...

  • I have a smile that can't stop when I watch this! This is so very Beautiful and Hauntingly Magical! He made it look so easy, like Fred did...dancing on air! Michael exploded with talent in all avenues! I'm so happy to be able to see this! Thank you!

  • @VisionofLoveandPeace When you think that Michael was still in his teens and had never had a formal dance lesson in his life and that leap is just amazing. Both Michael and Fred were wonderful dancers and watching them just makes me feel happy.

  • Wow was that Michael in the last frame jumping high and doing the splits! Whoa...I don't even think Fred did that!

  • He was the most talented person I've seen in my life. I forgot to breathe when I see him dance ... miss you so much

  • this is a must watch video !!!

  • @shaitaanbachcha Thank you so much.

  • Mjs tapdance, spin, James brown combo is superb

  • @Pumpalevu Michael was an amazing dancer and he could definitely have been Fred Astaire's successor if his career had taken that turn which at one point it nearly did.

  • @dardar31mj Thank you so much. I think this wonderful music, my favourite from any musical, and Michael's beautiful dancing work so well together. It is hard to believe he was not quite 18 when he did this, amazing! I'm afraid watching this does make me cry.
