  • Gotta plan your f***n trip. They run on a schedule. Layovers are put in place by the MTA to adjust the bus in route for the next trip! Sometimes that is the only time they got to go take a dump. Stop bitchin and buy a car! Next time you're at work taking a dump remember that restroom is always their any time you wanna stink it up!!!!!

  • Maybe it just would have been easier if the driver explained the situation to the passenger(s) before he left the bus?

  • @mistofoles yea, they should.

  • @mistofoles Very true. Another thing though is ive seen people get mad at a driver for using the bathroom. I'm sorry but would you not stop and take a shit if you had to drive all day.

  • its called layover all drivers do it before there route starts, give them a break they need to live too

  • That is such horrible customer service. You should go to the dealership, and buy a car. That'll show them /sarcasm. Look, a bus driver could take a dump on your shoes, and you would still be back to ride the bus tomorrow. The bus does not have customers, they have passengers. Ergo, "customer service" has no place in transportation.

  • LOL. I bet the driver was at the Layover. I crack up every time I have to wait at a layover or a time point, and someone asks how long till we leave. I always say, I dont know, what ever it says in the transit guide.

  • @dertnberny I would be in the office if i said that to my passengers (I wish I could though). It drives me crazy when I get that question. Sometimes I even make them wait extra time because of it though.

  • People think Bus Operators are Robots. What s/he should have done was kicked the person/people off the bus so they could stand outside while he took care of his business.

  • I am a bus operator, maybe that was his only chance to go to the bathroom for hours, I bet you still made your connection!!!!

  • the driver probably go to toilet or buying foods!!

  • I took the bus today and they motherfucker stopped at subway or 20 min.

  • @usagraff that's sucks!

  • @Jamin108 I DO!

  • Some of us don't purposely do that. Like to prevent from hitting a timepoint early sometimes we wait because if we arrive at a timepoint early and a supervisor sees us we are guaranteed a write up. I do the 217 starting at 5:15am so when there is nobody to ride the bus and there is no traffic you're guaranteed to run early and if you're caught running early, depending on the supervisor on site, they'll be an ass and write us up. So keep that in mind you guys.

  • stop complaining I am a bus driver and sometimes it is the only chance for hours we have to go to the bathroom and get something small to eat whinners

  • maybe he had to do number 2

  • lol right!!!

  • @nozynoddy lol...

  • when i use to take the metro bus to go home from school, the bus driver would always stop at at kfc and come back with a meal and a drink.

    =]

  • It's called a layover asshole

  • WHO RIDES THE BUS AT MIDNIGHT????

  • me...

  • well......... Bus drivers have rights to take breaks you know.

  • not while he's doing a run..a bus driver on B 41 did this while the bus was SRO.lol

  • they do need to take their 10 minute break at some point.

  • If you're on a bus and you happen to see other bus operators on the bus, keep in mind that we do also take the bus if we want. We have the right to right the bus for free using our Employee ID Tap badge. Some of us would rather take the bus instead of driving our cars all the time to work. Less maintenance and worry. I'm a bus operator at MTA Division #7

  • the houston metro buses do this all the time. they'll stop at mcdonalds for 10 minutes even with a full bus

  • thats because you're dirty and stupid

  • i hope you get cought doing it.

  • In downtown L.A. between 9p.m. and 5a.m. buses make connections on the hour every hour. every bus must wait for 10 minutes. Ten minutes after the hour the bus lineup is broken and they are on their way. In this video you can see the time is 12a.m. This is probably an owl lineup bus.

  • I am assuming singwith that if you got hungry and needed to eat something, yet you were late all day,you wouldnt do this? You act like the world is gonna end!Either deal with it or buy a car, remember, bus drivers are people too!

  • I was on the metro today and the driver got off the bus for something to buy. you know what? He came back in 60 seconds! You don't need more than 5 mins to buy something.

  • @singwith Maybe he had to take a shit too.

  • @MrLaborix I know that feeling...lolol

  • haha same here

  • @topper2142 thats no excuse. Appauling service.

  • I cannot believe they left the bus running while they were inside, with a passenger on the bus, I bet that isn't policy.

  • when nobody's watching, they do all kinds of things.

  • shut up

  • This is called the "Late night Owl Line-Up". We as drivers working the late night hours have to meet at a certain point and wait for other passengers and connecting bus lines so no one will be left. If a bus were to leave the line-up too early, a person/persons will miss their bus and will have to wait for possibly an hour or an hour and a half. Also supervisors monitor when buses leave the line-up too early. They'll issue write-ups to the operators if they leave the line-up too early.

  • @Mikeexcites29 As a bus driver I know this. But the problem here is our society doesn't stute slap idiots who open their mouths without having a clue about what they are talking about. Hey everyone, if you ever want to get depressed about what the future of our nation will be, drive a bus. You will see that the majority of people in our country are fat, lazy, and dumb as dirt.

  • shut up!

  • bus driver huh lol

  • well cifn2 if theres a LINEUP in place which this driver was in then customers are allowed to sit and wait on the bus.. see theres something you dont know about a lineup there still in service its just that they have to sit and wait at surtain points to wait for connecting busses; when all the busses are at surtain point then a supervisor either comes around or calls and tells the driver to leave...

  • @cifn2 MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN THAT BUS IS THE BUS DRIVER!!! THAT'S POLICY....LEARN BEFORE OPENING YOU'RE MOUTH MORONS!!!!!

  • Aren't bus drivers, like all hourly employees, required to take breaks. This seems factored in to some schedules that don't have layovers.

  • You was on a Neoplan AN440 CNG high floor bus!.Cool! Were the seats comfy?

  • The seats are okay. I like one that now use for Line 780.

  • Oh they must be the 8000 series NABI buses

  • I don't really know the name of bus and I don't have a video of them.

  • Oh I know Snuffy

  • @javonds1 it's a 6000 series.

  • Maybe they went to rob the clerk. The bus driver bandits.

  • I hope not! but that was weird to see four Metro employees on the bus at night.

  • What were you doing on the bus that late at night?

  • Headed to home from work.

  • Wonder if they left the keys in lol jk.

  • Sometime they do left key.

  • What idiots.

  • Buses don't have fuckin keys, dummy.
