Dude i knw this is an old vid but to notify you dont pull on the back thing to open it, it will break... just push it in and pull the back up but better if you have a small to medium size nail or its gonna be kinda hard. just press the button in and pick the back up :)

i have a n78 but when it opens pictures application or the camara, the screen doesn't rotate slowly, it just apears in landscape mode. why is that?

I am pretty sure that it is expandable up to 16GB but you should check on the specs on Nokia's website. It does say there.

I got my N78 finally! To zoom, you use the volume keys. Louder is zoom out, quieter is zoom in. Hope that helps!

How did you get those flashing lights in the Application-menu? As far as I can see, you have theme Haze on it. But mine doesn't show those flashing lights in the menu.

Simply cuz' I like it's design a lot more + the FM transmitter is a handy option.

The only reason you should pick the N82, is because of it's camera and auto screen rotation.

But (me not being such photographer) i'm easily pleased with the 3.2mp on the N78.

It's not really the same category of device, but the N78 is an excellent mobile with much better camera, video capture, FM Transmitter and can multi-task

i'm asking myself the same question since few weeks...ad little by little the n78 seems to be nicer for me...i prefer the design, the menus, even if the camera isn't the "best thing 5mp xenon thing...." cameras are better anyway lol

but now, when i see this great review...my choice is pretty sure, i'll buy this n78 because of his design and menus, but at christmas haha

The N78 is faster and has a better UI as it runs the latest OS, but the N82 has a much better camera. The both have wifi, gps and plenty of memory

I have heard that the N78 does not support IMAP - although I almost cannot believe it, have you had a play with the email?

Also how do you ind music playback? is it really close to the 24hours they claim?

N78 definitely supports IMAP and I use it all the time with my Gmail account. I can't speak to the time on music playback... I have to charge daily. I'm assuming that stat is if you have the radios off and that's the only activity on the device
