You could always go to the doctor and get your hormone levels checked. But unless you have really low testosterone levels you should be able to gain strength and muscle. This is assuming you're not already a fifty year old who is in really great shape. As you get into good shape progress will slow. Diminishing returns and all of that.
@KaelinSaint Thank you, i stop working out about 7 years ago, and now when Iever i try I feel even weaker. Doing pullups is is next to impossible now. Someone told me once you hit my age, your body stops making testosterone, or doesn't make enough of. So I will go to a doctor and have some test run. Thank you for the reply.
@ForestTre You COULD go on HRT but i wouldn't rush into it. Make sure your training methods are correct (Can't go wrong with Zach's videos) and your diet, rest, recovery and lifestyle and right first before resorting to the needle. You most definitely can still gain muscle and strength at 50.
@unlockthepower I hope I do not sound stupid asking this, but what is HRT? and is natural? My body rejects anything that is artificial. And would you all know of any superfoods that help us older men to build muscle And BTW thanks for answering my question and I like watching Zach Videos as they are very informative
I thought you said "awesome ass on this one"

Good video Zach. You echoed this 40yr.old's thoughts exactly. Especially in regards to family.

Zach, THANK YOU. This guy is one of the greatest inspirations I have had so far and he is a GREAT example of what it means to be a Stronger Man.
Learn from him cause he's got a tons of things to teach us.

Can a person who is hitting 50 build muscle and strength? Or is there a hormone problem, making that not possible?
