Uhm, I'm from Long Island, my mom is from Queens, my aunt is from Manhattan, a good friend of mine from Staten Island, and I've spent a lot of time upstate. No one from New York sounds like that. Maybe the guy from the Honeymooners did, but that was just him. His wife didn't even sound like that....

I dont know what u clowns are talkin about but she's right, this is original new york accent (though she's exxagerating a little).. Im talkin about the folks who have been here for generations. The part she messed up on was 'th' at the end of a word is just 't', the h is dropped.
