btw...I got a great deal on that guitar...and it sounded terrific in the store....so I thought, "Ok, for this price and this sound, I can overlook the Pepto Bismol color and the "Hello Kitty" sticker (it's off the guitar now!)"...and it has turned out to be a good, useful guitar. It's really, really comfortable to play.

I'm glad you liked this. I wanted to sing a "blues" tune about something that wasn't bad, or negative, so I basically tried these lyrics, and they seemed to fit the shuffle.

I am so flattered that you said this reminds you of Bo Diddley. That is so cool! I can kinda see where you're coming from, I like to sort of get in the pocket and chug along like that, too.

Bo was one of the few celebrities that I actually, personally got to meet. Bo was a little defensive and tough, but really approachable once you got to know him. I met him at a club. He was actually allowing fans to come up and bring things for him to sign. That was really cool. I'll always remember that.

It's funny...I started with Fender guitars and amps..then I tried other brands of guitars and amps...but something was always missing..that Fender punch and open-back sound I always liked. That's where I get a lot of my sound from...that and THICK guitar picks! Thanks again, man!

Yeah, songs have a life of their own...somebody told me that they couldn't believe "Cozy Prison" took <10 minutes to write, but it really did...I think I had it done in about 7. Yeah, they just fall out of a person, don't they?
