It's about two families in America who live in nice houses in the woods near a village. The movie very much concentrates on the relationships between the various characters: one boy (Elijah) falls in love with the girl from the other family, one of the mothers begin to steal, one father and tho other mother have a secret sexual relationship. And in the end there's the ice storm in which everything seems to reach its highest point. Like the death scene taking place. It's a great movie!
