Hey guys, I am just looking for some advice. I have always kept Reptiles and I am very good at it, But I have always really wanted a Marine tank. They just amaze me and I can watch for hours but they have put me off in the past mainly because they seem very hard to keep and maintain. Is there any tanks you can buy that come basically with ALL equipment built in, so in theory everything is already set up, and made allot easer for you, I would like this size of small nano tank to start me off.

What light you are using? I am using a regular T8 lamp with 15W each but its kinda yellow-ish. I want to get a blue-ish neon kinda colour, prob as similar as yours. What kinda lamp you have and how many watts you think a 13 gallon tank can support?

@DjAdam16 srry to butt in but get a pc light or t5 to get the neon look (i would get a nova extreme 24" t5ho fixture) a 13 gallon with the nova light could support any soft coral and some lps corals (no sps).

saltwaternoob- your tank looks great but i personally would put more live rock... i always go for 1.5 lbs per gallon so you'd need a little over 50 lbs. tge rest looks good but make sure to cycle it!

yes that was a flame scallop, but i no longer have it... i went on the word of my lfs and they were completely wrong. do not get these. they are filter feeders and slowly starve in aquariums...

was ur water blurry a little for like 3 week

and will it clear up?

nope, the water was blurry for less than an hour than cleared up... but it took about a week for it to completely clear up... check out the tank now and you'll see...
