this song always makes me cry.i first heard in the movie.I teared....it always reminds me of my best best friend thats movie...and not coming back. =[
every time i hear this song i get so sad. maybe its because the first time i heard it was in the movie and it was a sad scene but now when ever i hear it i wanna cry its a beautiful song though
"The books don't tell us what happened to Susan. She is left alive in this world at the end, having by then turned into a rather silly, conceited young woman. But there's plenty of time for her to mend and perhaps she will get to Aslan's country in the end...in her own way."
I love this song.Great pictures. I read all book's, but it took a while since all seven novels were put in one book. It was well worth it. Lewis made me adore literature and storytelling, and to write stories of my own since a kid.I cried a bucket when the Prince Caspian end came, but not as nearly as I cried when I read the last battle.Appearing of all character's,flooding Narnia left a deep impact on me.What a magnificent way to end a book.Lewis and Tolkien are the best writers in past century.
You know, my sister and I were talking about the final battle, and she asked who dies by the ending, and just as I was explaining, the pictures 2:39 began, and I started to cry. I love this video. Very very beautiful.
Susan, Edmund and Lucy all appear as grown up Kings and Queens in the Horse and His Boy but then only Peter, Edmund and Lucy return for The Last Battle - the books say that Susan "grew up" and thinks of Narnia only as a childish game so she doesn't return with the others. However, they may do it differently in the films..
no the movie has to go with the book so that means:
See ya in the next movie: Peter~, Lucy, and Edmund
going to miis yew: Susan.
Susan doesnt return too narnia cuz she dont believe in it anymore. (its only cuz caspian dided) THEN ht e sun in narnia blows up after a while killing everyone. susan is the remaining in the real world
WHAT!!!!!! they dont all get killed, they go through that shed thing into the "real" narnia (when the time giant wakes up) where all their old friends like reepcheep are as well as their parents, they were in a train wreck in london and got transported back to narnia again to help in the final battle
They die in the real world, and the New Narnia is a kind of representation of Heaven. They died in a train wreck in the real world, that's how they came into Narnia to save it.
So in a sense, they did die, but they got to stay in the New Narnia (which is basically heaven).
Technically, the movie does NOT have to go with the book. The director changed a bunch of things in Prince Caspian.
And the next movie Voyage of the Dawn Treader (my fave, cant wait!!! :). Susan and Peter are mentioned in it, and Edmund and Lucy are the main characters. Also, their cousin Eustace comes into the story.
And, the sun doesn't blow up, they go thru the doorway, and the old narnia fills up with water. They died on Earth in a trainwreck, but lived on in Narnia.
Hm, I'm not sure...It might be album only. I think if you buy the whole album on itunes, it might give it to you (but it might not show it BEFORE you buy it). Unless you already bought it, then I dunno! lol.
susan not returning to narnia has nothing to do with caspian, in the books she and caspian didnt have a romance so him dying would have no effect on her, and yes narnia dies, but they all stay alive since they go into the "real" narnia to live as kings and queens
thank you to someone who has actually read all the books, or at least the last battle. people think they know the stories but until reading all the books they remain ignorant, haha thanks for being one of the informed ones.
lol, thats okay.....i dont think ive ever been thanked for reading something before but theres a first for everything right?? lol.....i know what you mean though, and it drives me nuts when people act as though they know everything based on tidbits of info theyve picked up, its good to know someone else osnt totally ignorant to the actual story as well for once :D
haha of course. have you picked out the little information that Lewis left in there for the readers. as you know he was a strong christian and left some interesting allusions in the book(s)
yeah did...what i think is good though is that if your not christian you dont have to take it in that way, itys brilliant the way he made it so that theyre still amazing books either way you decide to take them they dont try to force belief on you :D
yeah thats very awesome the way he put them all together, brilliant mind and a very good man. and i like how they have his nephew on site all the time in the making of the movies.
do they?? oh wow i didnt know that, thats brilliant, beacause i suppose he'll know all about the stories having grown up with them i suppose. perhaps its thanks to him then that theye turned out so true to the book...with the exception of caspian/susan of course lol....i heard that theyre not going to be making the rest of the boks into films though...do you think its true?
yeah i really have no idea anymore.people are telling me all sorts of things so, i heard that they are going to make every second book so it would go L,W,W then Prince C, then Voyage of tht DT then the Last Battle...so i dont know
thats what i heard too... i really wish they would do the magician's nephew that was my favorite... plus if they do end up doing it that way the last battle will get confusing b/c of the absence of the background stories of the first children in narnia and jill's first time in narnia... jill and the professor/digory and polly will just show up in the end...
no, if the did every second book it would go The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, the Silver Chair. No Voyage of the Dawn Treader (the fifth book) or Last Battle (the seventh book).
I hope they are able to make all of the books into movies though.
yea...... but keep in mind it takes time to make movies.............. and they cant have the actors too old if they are going to use the same ones................ im hoping that they'll maybe make The Last battle into a movie......... its the most important one lol........ its the last...........lol.. Can't wait for Voyage of The Dawn Treader to come out!
what dissapoints me in the song is that it doesn't have that 'magical bit' in it (voice taken out) when they get on the train and edmund says he forgot his flash light. Anyone knows where I can find its true version?
I don't think that all seven books will be made into movies. I think that The Magicians Nephew and The Horse and his Boy will never be on big screen. Hey, just look at the vastly more popular LOTR, it took them forever to get The Hobbit movie going. I doubt any prequel will be made. And A Horse and His Boy has a completely different set of characters so that isn't goin to happen.
I am hooked on Narnia! They are even christian based I've read each book at least 10 times (no kidding). Seeing the movies . . . . let's just say I know the quotes by heart.
Theres two orders, the chronological order and the publication order, the films are being done in the publication order. I prefer the chronological order, it tells the whole narnia story much better.
they're doing the films on a really wierd order aren't they? the lion, the witcha nd the wardrobe is the second book, prince Caspian is the 4th and the dawn treader is the 5th. They'll probably skip the rest of them too and go right on to the Last Battle- book 7. i think its a bit dumb cos they miss out loads. Anyway i love this song and it's really awesome!!
Is There Gonna Be More Than Three Movies? Because I Love Narnia This one was better than the first one. aslan is my favourite character in narnia hes so cute :)
They might not even make a third movie. I hope they make more too. I've read all of the books and they are awesome. Peter and Susan are not in the rest of the books though.
oh I love this song so badly ...I'm a boy and I think it's touching ...lyrics and the tone are just amazing...I decided to watch the movie tonight or tomorrow...but who's the singer ..
it is a beautiful song, from a beautiful country, called Narnia. I felt so lonely, when i first saw this film. i hope they'll come back, as regina sing... I want to live in narnia forever. i really love it.
i hope, there is another world in the wardrobe, and on the end of the tunnel. :D
narnia always reminds me that there is a life beyond this empty world we live in. as a child, i always hoped that every closet or wardrobe and door would take me there, so i could lose myself in aslan's mane and forget the pain.
as an adult, i sometimes still do. this song made me cry. dammit.
you`re right, when I read it iI could believed it, but I search on internet about it and I found that C.S. Lewis in another book call "The collected letters of C.S. Lewis" He explains that Susan at the end could go to narnia (when she dies) and meet with all again. I believe Aslan has a purpose for Susan and she must stay in this world, probably to tell other people about narnia. that`s what i believe. =)
I adore Narnia. Wish I could go there. I think you shouldn't stop reading/watching just because Susan and Peter aren't in it. It's Narnia and the story of going into another world which make it worth it, and not the characters. At least, that's what I think.
I don't want to watch the next movie! I mean I WILL, but only to complain about it.
After all, Edmund is alright, but Lucy is kinda like a little snot. All in all, I prefer Peter and Susan much more then the other two, and their not gonna be in it! How infuriating!
lucy is awsome! they are all amazing...peter is so cute, caspian is hot, lucy is pretty, and susun is beautiful! they all fit in this movie perfectly!
its so sad that Susan doesnt show up in Narina in the last book cuz she stopped believeing, at least if she has survived the train crash she has a second chance to believe, dont their parents die in the crash as well, along with Diggory Kirk and the Polly Plummer?
there happy, problem fixed. and you know you are half right, and even though i like narnia, i dont think i will watch the next movie because susan isnt going to be there.
The next movie scheduled is "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader," Edmund and Lucy are going to be in the next movie, In "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader," Peter is out with Diggory (Diggory made the Wardrobe to Narnia) being tutored for College. Susan is out with her (mom?) in America. So...
"The books don't tell us what happened to Susan. She is left alive in this world at the end, having by then turned into a rather silly, conceited young woman. But there's plenty of time for her to mend and perhaps she will get to Aslan's country in the end...in her own way."
Paul F. Ford is a book analysist. Susan's family was killed in the crash, but it says nothing of Susan. Susan does not enter the real Narnia with the others at the end of the series. It is left ambiguous, however, whether or not Susan's absence is permanent.
"This is not to say, as some critics have maintained, that she is lost forever ... It is a mistake to think that Susan was killed in the railway accident at the end of [The Last Battle] and that she has forever fallen from grace. It is to be assumed, rather, that as a woman of twenty-one who has just lost her entire family in a terrible crash, she will have much to work through; in the process, she might change to become truly the gentle person she has the potential for being."
It makes me cry..Cuse no more peter or susan..Anyone who has read the books, do they ever return? Cuse apparently their making all the movies on the books
Peter doesn't come back to Narnia, but he is in the last book. Susan doesn't show up, because she "stops believing", I guess. It's when Peter dies and goes to "Narnia heaven" - you see him there along with all the other friends of Narnia, whom you'll meet in later movies/books.
I love this song. I also heard it in the movie and I just had to have it. It makes me sad and makes me cry too.... I still love it.

what's sad about the Chronicles of Narnia is Susan never comes back... cause she doesn't believe in it anymore : (
NarnianPrincesses 3 years ago
you`re right, when I read it iI could believed it, but I search on internet about it and I found that C.S. Lewis in another book call "The collected letters of C.S. Lewis" He explains that Susan at the end could go to narnia (when she dies) and meet with all again. I believe Aslan has a purpose for Susan and she must stay in this world, probably to tell other people about narnia. that`s what i believe. =)

There is one thing only that is needed to end the conversation.
"Once a king or queen of Narnia, always a king or queen of Narnia."

Who agrees?!

its so sad that Susan doesnt show up in Narina in the last book cuz she stopped believeing, at least if she has survived the train crash she has a second chance to believe, dont their parents die in the crash as well, along with Diggory Kirk and the Polly Plummer?
watersspark 3 years ago
Well, When I read the book it said EVERYONE died, but Peter, Lucy and Edmund's souls lived on to Aslan's Country.
CerealGamer 3 years ago
there happy, problem fixed. and you know you are half right, and even though i like narnia, i dont think i will watch the next movie because susan isnt going to be there.
cmamfgf 3 years ago
The next movie scheduled is "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader," Edmund and Lucy are going to be in the next movie, In "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader," Peter is out with Diggory (Diggory made the Wardrobe to Narnia) being tutored for College. Susan is out with her (mom?) in America. So...

Quoted from C.S Lewis himself:
"The books don't tell us what happened to Susan. She is left alive in this world at the end, having by then turned into a rather silly, conceited young woman. But there's plenty of time for her to mend and perhaps she will get to Aslan's country in the end...in her own way."

Paul F. Ford is a book analysist. Susan's family was killed in the crash, but it says nothing of Susan. Susan does not enter the real Narnia with the others at the end of the series. It is left ambiguous, however, whether or not Susan's absence is permanent.
CerealGamer 3 years ago
"This is not to say, as some critics have maintained, that she is lost forever ... It is a mistake to think that Susan was killed in the railway accident at the end of [The Last Battle] and that she has forever fallen from grace. It is to be assumed, rather, that as a woman of twenty-one who has just lost her entire family in a terrible crash, she will have much to work through; in the process, she might change to become truly the gentle person she has the potential for being."
-Paul F. Ford

It makes me cry..Cuse no more peter or susan..Anyone who has read the books, do they ever return? Cuse apparently their making all the movies on the books
xAliiBoox 3 years ago 3
you will see them again in the last battle, but only at the very end of the movie
ebethHorseLover 3 years ago
oh god no..so...how did they get back..cuse mister i'm always rite aslan said that they cant
xAliiBoox 3 years ago
Peter doesn't come back to Narnia, but he is in the last book. Susan doesn't show up, because she "stops believing", I guess. It's when Peter dies and goes to "Narnia heaven" - you see him there along with all the other friends of Narnia, whom you'll meet in later movies/books.
ebethHorseLover 3 years ago 2
...WTF? *sigh* I hope they change that in the movie..Cuse that's depressing.
xAliiBoox 3 years ago
I agree
Either they should all stay in Narnia Or Susan and Peter should be able to come back.
Well in the last book They all come back except for Susan becuase she doesnt believe in Narnia anymore.
Jenni2724 3 years ago
In the last book they all return except for Susan, because she stops believing in Narnia. So this was her last movie.
tiggerbear889 3 years ago
Yes Peter,Edmund, and Lucy come back in the last book. But Susan doesn't because she stops believing in Narnia.
=[ That's why I hate it.
Jenni2724 3 years ago
me 2!!!!
krocvicky 3 years ago
Yeah, Susan did stop believing, When I read the series it felt so.. wrong that she didn't go to Aslan's Country.
Susan is:
"no longer a friend of Narnia" -Peter
"she's interested in nothing now-a-days except nylons and lipstick and invitations." -Jill Pole
"She wasted all her school time wanting to be the age she is now, and she'll waste all the rest of her life trying to stay that age." -Polly Plummer
Susan answered back: saying it was Narnia was just a game.
