Its perfect. Restored over the last 7 years. I put line lock on it and now, the fuel pump keeps blowing fuses. There's got to be a short somewhere. Anyway awesome show

a supercharger doesn't help much with low end torque does it? doesnt the exhaust have to rev up the compressor to get it going?

That would be a turbocharger. A roots style supercharger or nitrous would be your best bet for low end torque (although nitrous cant reasonably be used at very low rpms for risk of nitrous pooling followed by explosion)

What type of boost are you running?..What other mods does it have ...Im in the process on building an 87 GT with a paxton SN93..i have a 93 gt also mostly stock its my daily driver...NICE VIDEO...Love the car...

I'm guessing boost was somewhere in the 8-9ish psi range. Also had heads, intake, cam and other bolt ons. Keep in mind when asking about boost levels that the same pulley would get you a lower boost number if the heads were ported, but the car would make more power. Its all about air volume, and boost is variable based on that. Thanks for the comment.

thx- the hatch was from an 86.  The car was originally carburated and converted to mass-air fuel injection to accept a blower without the carb bonnet after an engine fire

This one was converted to fuel injection with '90 mass air system. You can get parts to put the supercharger on a carbureted, I think the bonnet is the main part that goes over the carb.

I knew the owner and I believe you are correct on being an 86 hatch. That car had such a bad body, but it was pretty quick and fun to mess with unsuspecting people.
