Which is the best of the three Go to My PC, Log me in, or Remote Desktop Connection?

Because at my work we use Remote Desktop Connection, but I work at a collage and they get educational discounts.

@pivotkid85 no what these do is they allow you to control a pc. so say you are a computer fixer and a friend wants you to help them out with a problem so you add the pc to log me in or the other service and your able to see what they see and control their pc.

Question........... have you had a problem waking your computer up with your logmenin account. I just got windows 7 and from somereason i can't wake it up with logmein. can you help?

@hpeeler2 windows 7 is kinda sucks with this area. you might need to set your wol feature inside windows 7 so go to device manager and right click your nic, properties then look for send special packet or wol also their might be a feature that says disable this device to save power disable that because you want the pc to keep giving it power in order to wake it up. if you dont see any of these options download the latest driver from the nic manufacture. if u still dont see it look in ur bios.

The best way to do that is with VPN access using Remote Desktop from Windows..

yes. in the full (paid for) version of log Me in you can do both of those..

@coopdog65 yes you can do it once u add the computer and your connected to it their are options above you. go to them then select disable monitor and keyboard now exit the options and you will see in the same area a lock and a tv click on the both one will ask to install the driver to disable the monitor yes install it. now when u log off and u want to log in again the monitor and keyboard is auto disabled.

Thanks for the video, I'm trial with both and I think I prefer Logmein and its better value
