  • Hi I'm off to sharm on Monday feb 13, wot are temps this time of year. All weather forecast saying clouds for alot if time , thanks

  • @stevomatt Jammy devil wish I was coming too away from all this cold weather. You should get temps in the upper twenties this time of year, a tad chilly at night, but not freezing like england, just cool. Some days can be overcast with dust from the desert, but overall you should get what we would call a good summers day in england. Have fun and enjoy.. :-)

  • How was the weather and water temperature around this year? I`m going there January 28th, so I guess the clima will be pretty much the same as February. I know it`s gonna be hot anyway of course, but I`m just curious:)

  • @Metaltherebel92 I always think the sea feels cold when you first walk into it, but trust me once your in it feels fabulous. Its just the initial shock of cool water on a hot body.

As for the sunshine, well its winter there right now, expect windy conditions, not hurricane force, just gentle breezes, the temp will be in the upper twenties, like a typical summers day in england I'd say. Perfect if you don't like it too hot, just nice in my view.

It should be like what you see in this video. :-)

  • @Bevoin1970 Ah, I see. Sounds nice! Thank you for the response ;)

  • @Metaltherebel92 My pleasure, have a nice holiday.. :-)

  • @Metaltherebel92 he is right the winter here like summer in england

but i think the most beutiful time to enjoy the sea start in June

  • @MrElmasry4ever Well, I`m from Norway and here is it snowy and pretty damn cold. So i think I should be pleased with the weather ;) Btw, I have read that at wintertime the water is more clear than in summertime, so it is better to do snorkelling/diving at these times.

  • @Metaltherebel92 yes for the true in winter it more clear because almost of egyptions go to enjoy the sea in summer

and about snorkelling/diving u will like it

and i advice u to make safari and

in the next time come to cairo and visit south egypt luxor and aswan if u interest to see Pharaohs places like pyramids

  • @MrElmasry4ever It would be cool to see the pyramids, but me and the family only got a week so it would take to long to travel to Cairo. But if I like Egypt I`m probarly gonna travel back there sometime, and have another chanse to see them!

  • @Metaltherebel92 They do day trips to see the Pyramids, you can travel either by road setting off very early in the morning, getting back late at night, or you can fly there and back. You will need a VISA from the airport first. I've been four times now and still never seen them. Other people have seen them and say its ok, but nothing too special as you end up being pestered in Cairo by street beggars...

  • 3:20 ship is struggling to get up the hill.

  • @richandiben LOL :-)

  • Great video, Thanks for uploading.

  • @rectify2003 Thanks for watching :-)

  • Обалденное видео с естественным шумовым фоном.

  • @zamaizationБольшое спасибо за просмотр, Im рад, что вам понравилось. Привет из Англии :-)

  • The Egyptian way of life is quite crazy! I love Sharm El Sheikh and i don't see whats so dangerous about it :P.

  • @airbusmad Yes I agree, crazy mad place at times but friendly people... :-)

  • did you ignore your government recommendations not to visit EgypT :D

  • @youssef5671 We had already booked up and had flown out there before those recommendations came in. We saw no trouble what so ever in Sharm, the people were as friendly as ever, and i had no worries about my safety at all... :-)

  • @Bevoin1970

i hope that you try to convince other people in UK that Egypt is still safe not like media shows about Egypt :D

  • @youssef5671 I tell anyone that asks me the same thing, no worries at all. Media pictures don't help matters.

We'll be back next year definitely! :-)

  • Thank you very much for this amazing video !!!!!

  • @konfetkaUA Thank you for such a nice comment. :-)

  • First of all , I wish you spent nice time in Egypt.

    I have one question.

Could you tell me the kind of camcorder in detail ?

  • @jackpioneer I use a Panasonic HD camcorder, its about three years old now so out of date with modern equipment. Take a look at some of my old videos, on there you will see a video I made about what equipment I use. Thanks :-)

  • very nice ,im egyptian and never went to sharm but sure i have to this summer

  • @ahmedgeneral3010 I shall return next year, I can recommend visiting Sharm - Have a good journey :-)

  • GOING NEXT WEEK TO CORAL SEA SPLASH!

    ARE THERE WATERSLIDES THERE?

  • @tehshortnoob I think thats the new place, wasn't finished when we were there, so no idea whats in store for you there, must be good though I imagine. Sure will be hot out there at this time of year... :-) Have a nice time.

  • @Bevoin1970 Thank you.

    It's a splash resort so I heard there's quite a few pools. I hope there's slides.

Yeah it's the new place. 2% of it is not finished I hear... :(

  • @tehshortnoob Well you can bet, if it has lots of pools, then there should be some water slides too. Im envious now. :-) Have a good time.

  • @Bevoin1970 Thank you so much again! I'm going in 6 days, can't wait!

  • @theresa5260 Crikey! thats amazing, only been 4 times myself, seen many changes taking place too in that time, Im sure it will be like Benidorm in a few short years. What you just said, I have said myself too, funny eh?

There is a definite magnetism about Egypt and in particular Sharm.

You've got me wanting to pack my bags now... LOL

  • when were u there im goin back november10th for 2 weeks woooooooooo hooooooooooooooooooo

  • @theresa5260 This February just gone, when I took this video, was Fab! - wished I was going back too, have to wait till next year now I reckon. Hope you have a great time, Im sure you will... jammy devil :-))

  • omg my favourite city in the world xxx

  • @theresa5260 And mine too :-))

  • Is that the hotel next to Raddison Blu? If it is, i stayed in raddison, there were shops infront of the hotel as well across the road. Its a beautiful place to go, snorkelling in the sea is just amazing.

  • @johndeer7030 The name you mention doesn't ring any bells with me, maybe its further up or down the main road. Th more I think about it Im certain the hotel you mention is a little further up past Coral Sea, I used to go on walkabout and I often came back down towards the Coral Sea from what I used to think was the quieter end of the road where the hotels came to an end more or less.

I agree about the snorkelling though, love it myself.

  • God I love this town...:)

  • @45vincentconnolly Me too :-)

Oh Im so envious now, seeing as Im back in a cold, wet, grey, murky england, Sharm seems a million miles away right now, but looking very attractive.

Have a good time - Im sure you will :-)

  • @Bevoin1970 Thanks mate, and yes I will :D

  • Cracking video as usual Paul, welcome back to good old blighty. It is always a shock to the system when you arrive back.

It is a little bit different for me when i get back i am still at the seaside LOL..........John

  • @johnwood57 Tell me about it! - I've been froze stiff ever since, not to mention depressed with all the grey wet gloomy weather.

    Thanks John :-)

  • Another superbly shot picture card of your holiday Paul, it looks so inviting, reminds me of my many trips to Cyprus. Hope you're now totally relaxed to get back on to the dark, wet, gloomy crowded roads of the UK..:o)....Bob

  • @robmasterman Thanks Bob, it all seems like a long distant memory now. I have settled back into work, not easy, the weather is glum, and all I can think about are the next lot of people who are out there now as we speak sunning themselves.

Oh! how I wish I could click my heels and be right back there... lol

    Thanks again Bob.

  • Awesome video Paul, big ships, camels and people riding on CAT wheelloader, things I never see in Sweden...

  • @Jobergg You wouldn't see people riding in a CAT bucket in england either, the authorities would have a fit!!!

You often see people riding on top of the load on flat bed lorries too, or on the backs of pickup trucks, crazy stuff.

In europe we are so restricted in what we can do. Everything is now considered too dangerous for us...

  • 3:17 Has he heard about your passion for mowers :-)

4:50 I would love to show that to the H&S bloke at work!

Great video and pictures from your other one.

I can see why you love it.

Give up on the driving and get a job with the local tourist office promoting Sharm as you are doing a good job at it.

  • @1958IanM I'd love to take my van over there and discover more of the desert and surrounding areas. The guy riding in the CAT bucket was all quite normal for them, and the chap hanging off the side too - if it has wheels and moves jump on it if its going your way... I just love their, "whats wrong" approach to my raised eyebrows at certain things. Quite refreshing really after we are so stifled these days with H&S

You see 3 or 4 chaps riding on top of loaded trucks too, its great!

    Thanks Ian :-)

  • You are best! Do you have more films?

  • @TakzeTegooo Yes from last year and year before I think, have a look through my other films. Thank You :-)

  • Yes, I know, I watched all of your films from Sharm of a lot of times with a great pleasure. I asked, whether from this year you still had some films which will be on YouTube. I apologise for my English:)

  • @TakzeTegooo Your english is ok my friend - I don't have any new films at the moment to upload, but I shall have some in a few months maybe. Keep on watching :-)

  • I am waiting impatiently:) Greeting from Poland!:)

  • @TakzeTegooo Hello Poland :-) Greetings from the UK :-)

  • excellent video Paul, I hope you had a great time, It looks quite tranquil there

  • @pwalpar Thanks Walter, no signs of rioting to be seen anywhere near my sun bed :-)

  • Great video. Glad to see that the troubles in Cairo et al didn't spoil your holiday. looks like a lovely spot - great place to relax. Interested to see that you turned to the BBC for news updates. I worked with them for 20 years or so albeit on the radio side. Great crowd - and so keen to get the news balanced and right.

  • @108Robcatt I can certainly recommend Sharm El Sheikh, sunshine virtually guaranteed, lovely people both inside hotels and generally outdoors too. No trouble at all in Sharm, I wasn't worried for a single second and thats the honest truth.

We didn't have too many channels to choose from, most were in a foreign language, naturally the troubles in Cairo dominated the tv channels, but the BBC World News was just brilliant, so I tended to leave it on and keep an ear cocked to it. Maybe Im biased?:-)

  • was it safe over there with all the riots???

  • @birdman404 Yes no problems at all - Cairo is at least 8 hours drive away from Sharm, so thats equivalent to me hearing about troubles up in Inverness whilst Im living in Birmingham roughly translated.

Plus all the bother was directed at their leader and not tourists like me. I'd jump on a plane and go again tomorrow if possible... :-))

  • Some great quality video footage here Paul, fantastic scenery ! Thanks :-)

  • @007vauxhall Thank you, but really much, much better in real life... :-))

  • Great video and superb quality..

Never been to Egypt before, But it looks great..

A friend of mine always go back there for scuba diving, Witch he says is the best..

    5***** From Stockholm

    Jonas

  • @JNC7D Thanks Jonas, Egypt is a very nice place to visit, and if your into diving, they say the Red Sea is the best place to go and do that.

Never done it myself as of yet, maybe one day...

    Paul :-)

  • @slimmon2000 I can recommend Sharm if you've never been, weather almost certainly guaranteed to be brilliant, around 20 - 25 degrees at this time of year there, can you believe this is winter time for them!

This place is definitely on the up, sad thing is I can see it becoming like Benidorm in about 15 years time, as its popularity increases.

No bother at all from the Egyptians, take more than a riot to put a Walsall bloke off his hols... ha ha

    Thanks Andy :-)

  • great video!

    i love holidays

    welcome back :-)

  • @sprinter977 Thanks Gabriel, you should try Egypt, many Italians visit Sharm El Sheikh at this time of year. The weather is very nice and much nicer than wet England. I only wish I could take my Sprinter there and do some driving through the desert... :-))

    Thank you

    Ciao :-)

  • Hey Paul...I imagine that could be there and today is known as Paul this live...!!!Thank you for being Paul, excellent video

  • @truckernacion Thank you Alberto, Spain and Egypt are my two favourite places.

Thank you for being Alberto! :-))

  • yeah....i understand now....you go there and a few days later they make a revolution...:-))

glad that you are back my friend

    very good quality video Paul

    HAVE A GOOD WEEK

    Patrick

  • @7784Patrick Thanks Patrick, I was there when BIG changes took place in Egypt, lovely people and no trouble at all for the tourists. If you like the sunshine but not too hot, then Sharm is the place to go at this time of year.

No troubles, good food and lovely friendly people.

You too have a great week Patrick. :-)
