The reason people lost their job is because the company they worked for FAILED. Its ludicrous that people can accuse a secondary-company (Bain), trying to return the FAILED company to profitability, for their job loss. Jobs are nice, but you cant open a Popsicle stand in Antarctica and be mad for your job loss when the company fails, and you especially cant blame the secondary-company that steps in to save your Antarctic Popsicle stand.

@joejohey1 You need to look at a timeline. Your premise is backwards. Venture capitalism is about return on investment to the stockholders. That usually means layoffs and / or restructured salaries to reduce costs and improve the stock price AFTER they purchase controlling interest in the company. they make money onthe inflated stock price. It's not about increased production or long term R&D planning to help the company thrive.
