I loved Mia as Alice. In the first half, when she was still confused about who she was, she really conveyed how there was a full, curious, intelligent mind in her (just buried by Victorian conventions about what a girl ought to do, etc), and in the latter half when she came into her own and exuded the confidence of the legend she was meant to be without ever being overtly arrogant, etc. Plus, she's so gorgeous and picturesque in all her outfits (esp the armor--wow!!!). She was amazing!
