"iranian" and "ancient persian" are two different things. ancient persians were Aryans, White. in fact even today there is still a population of "white people" in iran. they look just like germans with slightly darker skin, but same facial features and blue/green eye color. they are the minority though to the arabic, mongol, indian, turkish peoples that live there now.
