@Tairaa91 Scott Pilgrim vs The World was a great movie that brings back memories of the original Nentendo system. It won an award for Most Underrated Film of 2010 in the Youreviewers Movie Awards. It had solid acting, a great plot, and some really sweet special effects and music. If you don't like it I'll respect your thoughts but don't rant about a praised movie and expect people to give you puppies and roses.

My mom and brother decided to watch this on HBO. I watched it for about three minutes - no lie the right side of my head starting to hurt very much. I think I was feeling brain cells dying or the beginning of a tumor. Either way I stopped watching it immediately. Just thinking about it is giving me a headache now. Whoever made this movie should be drawn and quartered.
lol, I like how the bald guy seems to think that ANY movie is comparabile to Scott Pilgrim. Every time I see Michael Cera in a movie, I want to hold him down, rip his teeth out with pliers and make him swallow them.
They need to stop these parody movies because they just aren't funny. Airplane is the founding father of this genre and that movie is classic. The Naked Gun is a decently funny movie. I kinda liked Scary Movie 1 and 2, but thats it. All movies that came after which include, but are not limited to scary movie 3 & 4, date movie, epic movie, meet the spartans, and of course vampires suck. Those movies suck so bad that they don't even deserve to be capitalized.

It sickens me that Friedberg and Seltzer keep getting money to make garbage like this. They've damaged the spoof genre probably beyond the point of repair. You can't just throw a bunch of fart/sex jokes and stupid pop culture references together and call it a comedy. There must be a decent story and characters to hold it together. And to the people defending this movie, do yourselves a favor and go watch Airplane, Zombieland, Dr. Strangelove or Young Frankenstein. Those are spoofs done right.

Honestly, when I was watching this, I actually said "This is better than any of the other _____ Movie franchise". I still stand by this. They actually tried to make jokes this time instead of relying 100% on references. It was still pretty awful, but I did laugh a few times at least. It's the best of the worst, in the end, though I still hold that the original Scary Movie was the funniest of the series. Though, that's not saying much.

I loved this movie so much. It's hilarious. The only problems I have with this movie is that there were times when they went too far and then there were times when they didn't go far enough. This is my second favorite spoof movie. Taking this movie's script seriously and thinking that it was well thought out is like saying the Mario games' plot lines were well thought out. FYI Nintendo's been doing Bowser steals Peach for decades.

I loved this movie!! And seriously, the actors in this movie are way better for the roles they spoofed then the actual actors. It's sad really. This movie wasn't supposed to be well written, it was just making fun of Twilight. Because seriously; all haters have been forced to see it. My step-sister, mother, and real sister forced me to see it. And the second one. And the third. This movie made me laugh my ass off!

Why not whine about Old Dogs making more money than other good films; it got just as bad ratings. Plus, I'm going to be flamed for this, but Vampires Suck did a good job spoofing Twilight.

@jvizzlezz- Movie critics judge movies, ok. They know what good movies are, and what bad movies are. If you don't like it, don't read their reviews. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. For the record, many comedies have recieved amazing reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. Airplane, Zombieland, Juno, The Other Guys, Lethal Weapon...etc!

I love the hilarious movies. They are 'stupid' for a reason... That's what they're meant to be, and it only makes them more funny.
And you're right with the whole critic thing. A lot of critics are crude assholes that know nothing about reviewing (Fury of the Film Fan), while others know somewhat, but are still asses.

All these movies that are parodies of other movies suck and yet people still watch them. The only funny one I thought was Scary Movie one then two then three. After that, the franchise kind of died. Parody movies just add some random shit to get a laugh, yet it fails...big time.

I'm getting really sick of the parodies. Scary movie was funny, being the first of it's kind, and yeah some of the movies after that were a bit funny, but this is just bad. superhero movie, disaster movie, date movie, and now vampires suck.

Well ... I liked the movie ... and to me, that's all that matters. Do we all really have to like the same thing? No, that's what makes us "unique" in away. Yes, we have our own opinions, but I find it wrong to call a movie a pile of shit without at least respecting the director's piece. Did you go through all the film making and have a movie published, risking the chance it might not even sell? I don't think so. So why judge something based on opinions and not facts?

In no way am I supporting the directors or saying this is a great film It wasn't that great, and I understand why people hate it, but this review is really flawed. There was only one fart joke in the whole film and whining about Scott Pilgrim making less money is totally unrelated to offering valid criticisms. Why not whine about Old Dogs making more money than other good films; it got just as bad ratings. Plus, I'm going to be flamed for this, but Vampires Suck did a good job spoofing Twilight.
