  • Yummy! I actually buy nettle tea which is very cleansing. Must get some now I have been reminded about it.

  • your snow geese are very entertaining too

  • Thank you for these videos. It really helps to watch the harvesting. My nettle was bigger than what you all harvested, as I am farther south, but I think it will be okay. I'm glad I harvested, as now there are many baby nettles that were hidden under it's larger sisters, and now they can grow, too!

  • sea is salty because the ancient rocks under the ocean have high sodium shloride and sodium chloride is soluble in water. i guess susan said kind of the same thing exept that the rocks which the minerals dissolve are on land...maybe its both :D

  • thanks for the videos - I live in CT and can not find any nettles yet - my peach tree is also in bloom.

  • How about throwing those into a juicer?

  • @Plum...eating raw nettle would hurt your mouth!! It would sting you.

Susun..thank you. I LOVED these videos and shared them.

  • eating raw is no nutrition? what about all the people who talk about how cooking kills enzymes, protiens and vitamins in plants? So do we have to decide if we want minerals by cookingor vitamins and enzymens from raw? Im confused now.

  • @Plum369 - yes, its a decision each of us has to make, what we feel is the best nutrition for us and our family. We each have to gather as much evidence as we can and then decide for ourselves. Listen to your body, rather than following the words of others...try varying diets for specified periods of time, the do what works for you.
