How can he say that Video-CD was better than VHS? There's no way that MPEG-1 audio would ever be better than VHS sound quality. Also, it was totally dumb to put video on a 650MB CD as opposed to 50GB of VHS tape capacity. Only JVC got it with its D-VHS, but public didn't buy it cause it was tape and didn't have menus. Too bad you forgot Star Control 2. Originally a PC title, a 3DO version had new music, speech and some graphics. Current open source version - Ur-Quan masters - is based on the 3DO code. While SC2 is a great game, 3DO had such a streak of bad games that it's not only the high price why it never was too popular.

The Sega GameGear was way ahead of its time. I owned one as a kid, and I will never understand how the GameBoy beat it, or why Sega stopped making it? The colored graphics which were way superior to the GameBoys black/green, the backlit screen vs the add on you had to buy for the GameBoy, which was just a light that sat over the screen?? I would definitely love to see the GameGear covered on here!
