Of course Polish people always say their language is the hardest one because they like to feel unique and important.

In fact Polish is just as any other European language (with quite simple spelling by the way).

@marcussecundus I'm terribly sorry but I have to disagree. So much as I have been traveling and trying to teach Polish to other nations, I've noticed that learning Polish, speaking it to be precise, was harder for them than speaking any other language. Nevertheless, this made them learn swear words even more eagerly.

Spelling might be easy if you learn the basics (well, maybe if we don't mention orthography), but reading all the "r"s and "sz"s and "cz"s is highly difficult for some nations. :)

Nie zagłębiając się w trudności w wymowie (a już tym bardziej w gramatykę), to jednak trzeba stwierdzić, że zasadniczo zapisujemy słowa tak jak je czytamy (nawet rosyjski ma zapis mniej zgodny z fonetyką), a nie jak np. we francuskim czy angielskim - zupełnie od czapy :)

@Tusia9922, moim zdaniem jest trudniejszy ;) W japońskim również są odpowiedniki przypadków jak zapewne wiesz, tzw. partykuły celu. Do tego dochodzi ogromny zbiór znaków, mnóstwo form grzecznościowych i słów wieloznacznych. Językiem europejskim o zbliżonej trudności do Polskiego są chociażby Słoweński, Fiński i Węgierski. Z okolicy: Turecki też nie należy do prostszych. Zresztą, ja mam takie powiedzenie że Żaden język nie jest prosty. ;)

@Avtomatms Japoński nie jest trudniejszy. Jest bardzo logiczny i łatwo się go nauczyć. Jedyną trudność sprawiają znaki, chociaż np. kanji łatwo zapamiętać - trudniej napisać, ale kiedy zobaczysz np. kanji "na metro", to wiesz co znaczy.

Mam wrażenie że chyba nie do końca wiesz o czym mówisz, jak zaliczysz JLPT na poziomie 3 (niech bedzie nawet i 4 !) to jeszcze raz się ze mną skontaktuj a wtedy przyznasz że wcale nie jest tak łatwo. @flowerymeadow27 Lithuanian has complex morphology, nominal declension (cases), pitch accent, and aspectual forms of verbs, similar to Polish, which can be confusing to most. I've studied Japanese for 2 years and I can tell you it's mega regular and much easier than e.g. Spanish. Chinese is even easier if you have perfect pitch ;) From reading a bit about Lithuanian grammar, I feel it's only a little harder than Polish. Navajo - I only heard stories about ;)

yes, both of them are pronunced the same but in grammar it's an important difference between them. it's hard to learn when we should use `h` or `ch` ;D i know it;D I'm Pole and lot of Poles can't do that well so how hard has it to be for foreign people...

Kurcze komuna się skończyła a polski się nie skończył. Rusycyzm w języku polskim pozostał jak lenin w mauzoleum - obcokrajowców (geneza tego mówi o wrogim, obcym kraju) tymczasem nikt już nie pamięta czym jest słowo cudzoziemiec - obywatel, mieszkaniec cudzej (innej niż polska) ziemi. Polecam nauczanie polskiego bez ruskich naleciałości.

Polska nie ma obcych krajów po za Awganistanem ale to też nie jest do końca prawdą mieszkaniec Awganistanu nie jest obcokrajowcem.
