  • Wow great tourist attraction ya went there, Lad!

  • @henshooten: I had a look at 1.06 and first I couldn't see anything, but then took a second look and saw your ghost, just left to the tree on the right. Could be.

  • Been a while since I checked your videos, but just wanted to say again, thank you so much for posting these, these offer a very rare sobering glimpse of what still remains after all these years. The whole island of Saipan almost feels like a memorial (my impression, anyway) much like Verdun in France.

    As always, stay safe.

  • @Schone23666 Thanks Schone. I'm glad you came back.

  • It's amazing seeing Saipan again. I haven't been back since I lived there in 04' -06'. I really hope to go back one day.

  • not during the *day*

  • @teebaby670 That could be interesting.

  • i think next time you go, visit suicide cliff at night, not during the same.

  • if you look at 1;06 i swear you will see a Japanese lady wearing the typical rice paddy hat in a prayer position

  • Nice video, you should make video for the Travel Channel.

  • Haha. "I can't stay here long, some fool may drop a rock off the top." Funny.

  • i find this errie

  • ghost visits squidward ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhyhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • THANKyou for the amazing "tour"; it's a privilege for many of us whom have not the opportunity to explore.

  • @guyistvan You're welcome Guyistvan. I'm glad you liked it.

  • @SaipanPictures Hey its me again i wonder were those bottles molotovs? or what?

  • i'm from Saipan

  • Wow... totally not the video I was looking for. I will come back tomorrow and read al the comments when I'm sober! Thanks! =)

  • @IndividuallyWrapped Thanks. I have over 90 videos that are a bit out of the ordinary.

  • you should have taken one of those shells

that would be an awesome souvenir!

  • @iliekmudkipz90 The shells are common, some are even still live. Some people have a collection here.

  • I wonder how much unexploded ordinance is all over that island

  • @hyroglyphx I sure find a lot.

  • you need to keep camera more stable

  • @usat42 I walk with a cane and heavy limp so I often get the "Mr Bean" effect when I'm filming and walking the same time.

  • @SaipanPictures were there any hand grenades in that area?

  • @TheForever121 Not near the bottom of Suicide Cliff but quite a few not too far away.

  • my god what a view..jesus i cant imagine jumping off of that. would rather shoot myself lol

  • japs were masters of brainwashing.

there was no need to jump off that cliff...being in americas hands is a hell of alot better than being in thier own ppls hands.

  • @MAKER6450 They sure were. The Japanese soldiers were also up there shooting any civilians that didn't jump.

  • @SaipanPictures really?

    i didnt know that.

    thanks for the great vid.

  • @MAKER6450 You're welcome and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

  • Suicide is so awful to see or even imagine. The Emperor of Japan ordered the Japanese who were on the island to commit suicide rather then to surrender. Thousands jump off the cliff all because of a man told them to. I hope he is burning in hell.

  • @vkorchnoifan Sure is. What I can't understand: all over the Pacific tens of thousands of Japanese soldiers killed themselves because they disgraced the emperor, but when the emperor lost the war he did not follow his own rules and continued living for another 44 years after the war ended.

  • I was talking about the bottles on the ground. Will CNMI jail me if I take one?

  • @ds04151 Probably not.

  • thx for the video. I want to go there to take some WWII stuff

  • @ds04151 Thanks DS. All artifacts in Saipan are protected. I only take pictures and videos and leave only sweat and blood.

  • @ds04151 hey you can get to prison for stilling World War 2 Relics.

  • @ds04151 man id love to go to some of these places and find stuff.

has a spooky feel to it tho.

great vid...this is what youtube was made for.

  • My friends and I went up their once and considered going down to the bottom of Suicide Cliff. It was near sunset and we figured if we wanted to see some ghosts we would go. Unfortunately most of my friends were scared and we didn't have a map/guide to lead us out of the jungle. Were considering to go down their again too. :o)

  • @jaymesandtunic It is a difficult hike and you don't want to go too close to sunset unless you have lots of flashlights and familiar with the jungle. It is a fun trip though.

  • Great video. I think the only ghosts that will be there are the likes of guys like us poking around for history. All the others left as fast as they could.

  • haha. amen

  • hey did you did you find any ghosts when you went down there? on yer cam?

  • @danieljake03 Unfortunately no and if there are any in Saipan then that's where they should be.

  • ''can't stay here long. Some FOOL may drop a rock off the top"

    didn't you do that?

  • @gustavth1 Sure did.

  • @SaipanPictures :P

    otherwise, very interesting video.

  • How scared would you have been if someone landed next to you?

  • @08Gillen

    Very.

  • Good answer

  • 5/5 buddy cool

  • Thanks

  • NO! Not smiley-rock :c

  • nice vid

  • Hi IslandGirl. I took the long way around, a drive and a couple hour hike. The voices I heard from directly overhead must have been from people on top of the Suicide Cliff overlook.

  • By the way how did you manage to get from the high top of the cliff to the bottom? Bunji jumping? Voices? Awesome video footage tyvm.

  • Thank you so much for sharing your video. It was very interesting WW2 in the Pacific.

  • nice...

  • awesome place.
