  • Much better than Carley and Sinatra version for sure.

  • Splendid.... She is an American Classic!!!

  • Incomparable. This lady is all-time fabulous. Nelson Riddle sure doesn't hurt....

  • You need to get a better recording...this one sucks...Big time

  • Linda Ronstadt had a wonderful ability to bring out the emotional vulnerability in these songs. Her doe eyed retro forties look worked perfectly with the songs as well.

  • I remember renting a video of Linda with the Nelson Riddle orchestra. It had this song as well as others from 'What's New' and 'Lush Life.' I really would like to find this video again.

  • Hay Man don't knock it. It's better than nothing!

  • If you respect Ms. Ronstadt, you'll take down this video or repost with decent sound.

  • bad audio quality, exceptional Linda, amazing lyrical poetry, wish I wrote it! moving, voice like a bell........

  • Linda looks and sounds fantastic even with crappy video and audio like this. If another person on the planet can sing this song better, I haven't heard of them. I'm glad I can say I saw her do this and all the others live, because there won't be another Linda ever.

  • no a wet telephone sounds better! what the fuck - over? hey dip did you ever hear of Sony??!!! DUH!!!!

  • Inexcusably bad sound quality, like an ancient telephone. That's gotten wet.

  • This recording is not very good, and Linda was not at her best voice. But her looks combine the best of Edith Piaf and Judy Garland. The song is one of the greatest torch songs ever, thanks to its composer, Jule Styne, whom I think of as the American Puccini. He is best known for the musical Gypsy and Streisand's "People."

  • Can't disagree with that one, Creep. She's wonderful!

  • No one sings this song better than Linda.

  • Except Frank Sinatra.
