I have a pacu in a 60 gallon tank. Wen I got it I did not know they grew so big. It is now very very large about 20" long and at least 5lb's. The problem is he cant turn around very easy. The water gos bad in less than a week and dose not get a chance to cycle. The tank is long enough and plenty tall, it is to thin and he smacks his head while turning around, and I fear that soon he will break the tank. It is only 3/16" glass. Can you help? What should I do all the stores in town refuse to help.
I asked the aquarium staff at the Zoo if we could help, but we do not have any more room at the Zoo for additional Pacu. Their suggestion was to contact your local aquarium club to see if anyone locally could help you
