By adding more atmosphere, and not knowing when you are going to get hit, it adds more tension. Seriously, play Clive Barker's Undying and you'll understand. And I said to make the game more like 28 Days Later only. I'm not saying change L4D but a MOD for something a little different if someone wants to play that style

If you backup the original music folder and paste it back over the 28 movies music if you don't like it. Then yes.

And even then, all you need to do is right click L4D via steam, select Properties, click the Local Files tab, then select "Verify Integrity of Game Cache". This effectively restores L4D to its original settings- so if you have any other sound mods you don't want to be rid of, be sure to back them up for replacement before verifying the game files.
