This was the when TV was at it's best. Ask your grandparents what they listened to, and check it out. Yes, people where clapping, you can see how reserved they were. It was hard for Chubby to do that then.
@laborhead I'm glad that you did, too. I think that it's important for two people from two completly different generations to have a normal conversation. I love the 50's, the 60's, & the 70's. Just yesterday, I finished a pair of bellbottoms I've been working of for a bit! Gosh, that was fun. (I steal my grandparent's records all the time- Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Peter Paul & Mary, Donovan, you name it!) I've always looked up to Chubby for being a rebel and creating a new dance move.
