  • Hi alishamao, according to your latest reply on Mrbrodady; I assume this is a failed gadgets??? or only useless for heli???

  • Hello, I am thinking of making a automated flight helicopter, would this software be compatible with an RC helicopter type aircraft? And if so, would this software be able to take off and land rc helicopters since they only require vertical takeoffs? Please reply, thanks.

    Brodady

  • @MrBrodady answer to all your questions are no. this software and hardware is totally useless, we have stopped testing it anymore as we do not want to crash and loose more planes

  • have you tried an unasissted lading Ali ? I would not dare to release the controls, I would think it would be easy for the GPS to calculate ~1m wrong, in distance that makes no difference but in landig thats a mile off.

  • @Tendo8002 never did. this system is not designed for that. but we can set it to a way point and cut the throttle on GCS settings or radio and it will land its self slowly.

  • Spent all my cash on UAV stuffs, no money for landing gear at 2:17 :)

  • UAV ready for deployment, repeat, UAV ready for deployment. Lol, nice setup there dude, I hope to do the same with an RC predator, with FPV and functioning missles too.

  • 666 view's lol

  • How does the autopilot handle winds? Is there a maximum wind component? Very nice video........I do hope this technology is never used in the wrong way by the wrong people.

  • @RicardoNY1 I do hope that as well my man. using this technology for constructive purpose can bring us more benefits. fall in wrong hands and we can see disasters and sadness only. But again yes, this autopilot does its best to follow nav points. winds can push plane around or off its path but plane makes quick turns, quick adjustments and recoveries and goes to the Way point straight away. you can make corrections during flight for how much pitch and roll it should use for corrections.

  • @alishanmao I'll tell you one constructive purpose, for all those guys out there who metal detect like myself, this would be a heck of a good tool.......particularly for finding signs of cellar holes and old foundations out in the woods. Keep up the good work in presenting your reviews.

  • @RicardoNY1 thats right I do not know the name of those sensors but i know there are sensors like magnetometer and other that can detect whole lot of stuff from air. This can fly low altitudes as well using Autopilot circling over a point and with live FPV feed Pilot can quickly climb if there is something in front. Infrared imagine and much more can be on board for some serious surveillance. I am trying to make it to carry 1kg payload with my finished foamy product ;) and 10kg with Gasoline

  • @RicardoNY1 Here in ths US there are alot of old structures, foundations, old trails, campgrounds etc. that are prime for getting into with your typical hand operated metal detectors. The problem is finding them.......google earth is one method, but with something like this and an onboard camera to record, it can be done the way some guys do it, and that is fly over areas of interest in a real plane. Much cheaper doing it with a setup like the one you've shown.

  • @RicardoNY1 there you go, you just gave me more customers hehehe.

  • @Alishanmao, Dude, all of those systems together are awesome. I can see many applications for this. Mainly surveillance if you can work out a longer battery life. Awesome set of videos.

  • @minfinger thats what we are trying to do. got a skywalker for experimentation that can fly 50 minutes on fully charged Lipo. thats good time to travel farther and back. Later will experiment with Gasoline engine powered plane, those things can fly for 2 or 3 hours depending on how big is gas tank ;)

  • @alishanmao Do a Jet Engine ;)

  • @minfinger when i have money I will do for sure]

  • wow, now if you can just get it to land itself, you can program it to do covert missions for you lol

  • @metroid1985 it can actually if you set nav points cleverly :) Stabilization system keeps plane straight, if motor stops, you can see plane touching ground on its belly. but only problem is that there is no way to find out or set now if it will land on road or grass or on a building hehehe but it will land on its belly safely

  • @alishanmao damn, i wanted to see how far it would get flying over the white house lawn lol

  • Excellent vid Ali.

  • @matube73 thanks mate

  • Amazing technology but would get old too fast to stay interesting. Why fly RC if you use this system seems like just another flight sim !

  • @Gofer303 well its a UAV system for recon missions :)

  • Very cool stuff. And its all fun and laughter until the plane flies itself into those classic Chinese pointy mountains. The autopilot doesn't have vision or terrain following -- not yet anyways!

  • @videoguy837 agree, not yet :D so you gotta be careful when you set GPS Nav points. do not set one point on mountain lol

  • NICE Ali

  • ali, this is great stuff... i don't see anybody else on youtube covering it. i hope you can provide even more uav technology coverage... maybe have one of the engineers as a guest to explain some of the technology.

  • @marhar2 sure i will keep that in mind. My New SkyWalker plane 50 minute flight time (Sweet) coming soon and I will do more experimentation for greater range flights too. will keep it covered

  • how can you land your antenna is not out??

  • @ludo2k thats the beauty, you do not need your radio antenna. radio is not transmitting to plane ;D its transmitting to GCS only. GCS is controlling the plane

  • How much will an auto pilot stabilization system cost?

  • @99minerkc this one full system can cost under 2000 USD

  • thats tight :D you should make some kinda of uav a like and put this thing in + camera in to record some aerial video :D

  • @StewieRc that is what we are doing :) aerial surveillance Vehicle ASV is coming soon

  • thats awesome!

  • Nice Video Ali, on the Testing FY3ZT Autonomous flight UAV System, looks pretty cool man, looking forward to seeing more.

    Happy Fly'n!

  • @JollySwagman2006 more will come

  • That's awesome! Now they need to design an autolanding.

  • @thefsxflyer they are working on it. also I gave them idea on making sure a camera tells the GCS not to crash plane into Mountains hehehehe

  • It looks like the transmitter antenna was not extended at all. How much range do you get with no antenna ?

  • @walkermsg transmitter is transmitting to Receiver that is on the ground just 3 feet from me. its then connected to GCS and GCS is controlling the plane by translating the commands from Receiver. so I do not need antenna extended yet I get 10km flight range

  • that's sweet

  • nice tech

    grtzz

  • everyone one was talkingit was some cool auto altitued tech talk really funny and cool ausoem man

  • why is there no landong gear. wont the fusalodge and/or wings get messed up from slidong?

  • @SgtJones09 thats a glider

  • And here I taught you needed skills to fly RC planes, all you need is tons of money and computer software. Next the computer will replace you ALI. and make flying videos since you are no longer flying.

  • @freemarlochip well Skills are still here but autpilot can save your plane and fancy equipment can save you lots of money in long run

  • nice work.......as always...

  • wow wow wow....i was thinking that someda planes like this flying relativley low...can be used for delivering packages don't you think? between big cities let's say...if you can set the autopilot....it should work

  • @sagabhcrew ;) hmmm thats a good idea for future

  • @sagabhcrew dude if you have FPV system and a good rc heli you can deliver just about any package you want as long as the heli can carry the weight. think a few oz will be fine if ya git what i mean.

  • @liqwon1151 hm... didn't think about that first......nice idea! i thought more of documents and stuff like medical emergency shit/ well that's one too.

  • wow

  • third!why can it fly so long, i though tthe normal crushing time is just 5 mins?

  • @ericleejh24 gliders can fly longer.

  • third!

  • Second - BAMM

  • first!!!!!
