  • dont tattoo at home.. get an apprenticeship, learn how to tattoo out of a shop.

  • more blood much

  • Ohhh, so thats how you move the needle in a circular motion! :s

  • sry tattoo artist i would not go to you because it was more blood then ink i don't see no ink when you wiped the skin

  • that's gotta hurt like hell!!!

  • I find it worrying that there are YouTube videos showing people how to tattoo. D:

  • jesus people, if you guys cant pick up hints on why and what hes doing, you should not be tattooing, too thick to be doing it. try to figure shit out and why.

  • why is he goin in circles with the shader? is that bad to scar the skin??

  • @elgoose2003 rather than back and forth? think about it

  • why the fuck are these all labeled "how to get a tattoo" what the fuck is that supposed to mean? this isn't showing any information at all just a shitty artist i mean look at those lines, theyre choppy as fuck he's gonna have to go over that like 2 times

  • Looks like more blood than ink....lol

  • Tip: go buy an engraver (its a small aperatus that chips on glass, metal, ect) you can practice on glass to get a feel of tattooing its cheap fun affordable I mean you can get glass any were. Art is my passion and I love to learn each medium I feel this medium help me get a better understanding of tattooing. So I'm glad I got my hands on an engraver worked for me Mabel itl will work for you!.

  • THANK YOU SHOTSY. I'VE BEEN TATTOOING FOR A WHILE NOW BUT IT'S PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT HAVE MADE MY LEARNING PROCESS MUCH EASYER. I REALLY APPRECIATE THE VIDEO, AND I ALWAYS LEARN A LOT EVEN AFTER WATCHING THE SAME VIDEO OVER AND OVER. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

  • jeez this guy needs to lay off u shouldnt bleed that much

  • @cumulusplainband actually it's normal, this always happens when you're using a lighter shade or color. it's just a sign that the ink has settled in and you can move on to the next area. the reason why you don't see as much blood as you do now when he's using darker shades or colors, is simply because the darker colors hide the blood better. other than that, some people just bleed more than others the same way as some area's on your body bleed more than others when being tattooed on.

  • il do it better than the fatguy

  • if you know how to tatt, then these videos will help you get better. you juss have to watch and study them patience and practice.

  • haha is this fucker about to do a tattoo or cook lunch in the cafeteria

  • @lbcbull562 lmfao. tired of these fucking expertvillage videos coming up on the sidebar- they suck and dont teach you anything no matter what the subject is

  • Gay video..i never had aan apprentice and I been hired at 3 very goid shops and im still being offered jobs.....if u have it u have it if u dnt keep trying till u do.

  • @tripnasty1 Then how did you get your license? No offense, but they must be careless shops if they'll hire someone who's never had an apprenticeship. I'm not doubting your abilities at all, but still.

  • oooh i love those multiple head needles!

  • Why would you want to refer to yourself as a scratcher anyway? If your art is any good you wont have trouble getting an apprenticeship and progressing that way.And if its not then you should quit and stop trying to a tattoo artist because you think its cool!

Thank you very much miami fucking ink

  • can you shade with black outline ink i am apprentice but sometimes i am shy to ask because i am new

  • @sancolepremillz You can shade with black ink, I do. I prefer it over gray unless it's a portrait or something with very washed shading. But in order to shade with black in you need to dilute it with water.

  • His machine is wayyyy tooo high for shading

  • @DrOpSxOn3r Honestly, it's personal choice. It does help, I'll give you that. But the ink, and the depth of the needle are factors also.

  • It would help if these instructional videos explained a little bit more..like what grey shade concentration % of ink was being used was it 6%, 3%...etc..but it looks an ok vid to me..am a scratcher and i want to progress to fine portrait tats...yes its ok doing the bread and butter stuff but i want to progress and learn more...it easy to get started in tattooing...its hard to learn and master the advanced techniques that separate the million scratchers from the few and far between real artists!

  • Damn, isn't that harmful for the skin, it's likely getting scratched up.

  • @Kingjeffkoch no that just looks worse than it is....the skin is not being overworked as could happen in one small spot going over and over...what you see here is normal for grey shading.....this guy has been doing this for years ..he does like to go in deep at times but his technique looks good to me..

  • dam u couldnt put all the vidz together? n must he introduce himself in every clip? n i havnt learned shit either! it takes pratice to learn, u have to fukk up

  • lol i have watched every video on shading and havent learned much at all thanks for not helping

  • ouch! that tattoo must've hurt the guy.....he went over the place like 3 times and the colour barely went into his skin :D plus that was a huge amount of needles being poked into his back :P

  • Can you please tell me if your using stacks or mags??

  • not telling us how he dilutes his ink if he is dipping in water nit telling us his machine setup which is the number 1 contributer as to whether or not u will have soft shading, not telling us about his hand movements, not telling us about voltage. bullshit ppl

  • i think this guy is gay

  • I have a mild hemophilia... does that mean that I cant get a tattoo? :oo

  • so u used more than one needle at the same time?

  • @ssilver99 is that a serious question...?

  • this guy is badass! google his work

  • ponaei??auto??

  • Are there any techniques to be less shaky or for my hardlines to come out less shaky? And what else can contribute to shaky lines besides my hand? And I think you're awesome dude honestly!...

  • 0:01

  • i like that needle grouping!!!

  • Know what would be fucking awsome? If these dumb ass videos actually explained something..Like how to shade, instead of showing a pointless 1 minute clip...Fuck you expert village.

  • @skinhead3000 you should know they don't want new guys stepping in and saturating they're market.

  • @skinhead3000 Learn how to shade on a melon.....then come watch the best like Shotsie Gorman and you might learn something

  • @skinhead3000 It does show you how to shade. You need to know how to draw first before you can start tattooing. If you don't know anything about art or drawing, obviously you won't understand this.

  • @jasperkang Well mate, being that I've been an artist all my life, and I am a tattoo artist. It would be cool to see some more informational videos. And before you go and say another comment, I'm not a scratcher, I'm not in a shop anymore because I joined the military, but., I had an apprenticeship, and I love art, but, that doesn't mean I can't keep learning. I mean, sure.It shows you how to shade, but if you're a tattoo artist, you should know nothing should be rushed,a one mnute clip is rushed

  • @skinhead3000 Ungreatful much? get your lazy ass up and find an apprenticeship then. See how "pointless" it really is

  • @RIVOTHEAD13 I had an apprenticeship, and finished it...Just because I finished a tattoo apprenticeship, doesn't mean I like to continue learning, I learned how to tattoo safely, and I learned to tattoo properly, but I still like learning the new trick here and there, also.. umadbro?

  • @skinhead3000 Your comment tells me something different. I think you're another scratcher who thinks he's an artist. If you don't want to "continue learning" why visit a vid with tips.. Rofl, you're a douche bad, and no.. im not mad, just had to put another douche bag monkey in it's cage..

  • @skinhead3000 Maybe you can go get a fucking apprenticeship like everyone else.

  • @ooJDMoo Well first of all, you don't need to be a asshole, asshole. Second, I had an apprenticeship at a good shop, I watched these videos to learn more, I was always trying to learn, in and out of the shop. I don't tattoo anymore because I joined the army. Stop being such an ass.

  • @skinhead3000

"Well first of all, you don't need to be a asshole, asshole." LOL!!! Awesome sentence! I love it... and you're absolutely right. Even the BEST artists whether tattoo, oil, clay, music, etc, can ALWAYS learn something from someone else.

  • @GangreneVagina Lol cheers mate.

  • @skinhead3000

its epert villigae what do you expect you want a good video

its 33 min 16 sec its called tattooo lessons for beginners black and grey shading

its a tattoo about a skull cow or bizon or somthing with horns XD im srry dont know if you se you know

but its fun to see en some nice tips en proper tattoo

  • Nice

  • What did you explain?

  • You guys need to stop complaining about his techniques, his work comes out very well in the end. Yes i do agree he is a bit rougher than he needs to be, but the end product is what people pay for. If you think you know better than a proffessional, you shouldn't be watching a how-to video in the first place.

  • hey suckmeoff dude...check this out. tattoo machines back off...they use springs to do so. u can go too deep still, but a good profesinal wont. ne of the reasons apprenticships are important. youre getting poked a few hundred times a minute depending on the machine, with needles...so blood dis going to be there. somee bleed worse than others. pigments instead of greywash can hide blood...like the other homie said. why u jump on here and be stupid like that? the blding in ur tat was minimal

  • yeah fuckin gay wtf is up with the whole black bar so u cant see fuck this guy

  • do you move flat needle in circles? Or only in one direction,.. because i guess it lifts up over the tip,.. and that could be dangerous??? Or does not??

  • fake fukk outta here

  • iv never heard or seen white used in graywash! and personally i think the idea suks y wud u do this personally i used distilled witchhazel untill recebtly were now i buy the different grades of graywash pre mixed ie intenze and kuro sumi as they now provide a softer version of there graywash and never has it had any white pigment in it

  • ew... i think i'll just stick to drawing on myself with sharpies.

  • That looked painful he was putting a lot of preassure, but I guess it's better that way, can u mix it with tap water???

  • OK i used a 15 mag as well... i have a bolt m series machine and i can shade like that in the video when i go fast it isnt as graceful in the skin as shotsies, it gets caught up in some places...dont worry guys i do this on my own legs so save the comments...any tips?

  • this video is grate

  • Comment removed

  • yo that look like blood i little bit

  • yeahh wel u kinda bleed when u get stabbed with a needle ayy

  • @123sukmeoff i dident bleed when i got my tat done... if theirs bleeding, than that means that the artist is doing a shit job, and applying too much pressure when he is giving the tattoo, making the needle go too deep.

  • @selibucaz bullshit thats greywash, you see blood more with grey wash becuse there is less pigment to hide the blood. if you break the skin, you bleed.

  • @grey1pvc im confused on what your calling bullshit on? are you saying its bullshit i dident bleed, or bullshit that i said the artist is most likely doing a bad job if theirs blood? (im not saying this artist is doing a bad job, i was trying to tell 123sukmeoff that this video was not fake, and i happen to think hes doing a great job with the tat.)

  • @selibucaz bullshit thats greywash, you see blood more with grey wash because there is less pigment to hide the blood. if you break the skin, you bleed.

  • @selibucaz You are a fucking idiot. the needle HAS to puncture this skin to leave ink in it, and puncturing the skin causes bleeding. Your tattoo bled when you got it, or it would not have stayed in your skin. you just didn't see it, probably because it mixed with the ink and was wiped away with the ink. but with wash shading the blood is very visible, no matter how it's done. And any tattoo artist would be lucky to have even 1/2 the notoriety of Shotsie Gorman.

  • @justinchrist762 ok, w/e my bad, i should have specified that i meant excessive bleeding. i was just trying to tell a person commenting before that this video is not a fake video of a tattoo being done, so i must be a" fucking idiot."

  • @justinchrist762 also, if you go back and re-read what i wrote, you may find out I never said anything bad about Shotsie Gorman.

  • @selibucaz you are a fucken idiot

  • well what do you think comes out when you get tattooed water?

  • Bulking up muscles is the last thing that will effect a tattoo, gaining 200lbs now that will mess up a tat big time, the skin will stretch and sag and then your lovely wife's pic looks like her grandma! Losing weight dramatically can also cause skin to mess up and the tattoo looks like crap. Muscle is better to tattoo on the healthier the better, the skin is tighter and takes less time to work on.

  • That wasn't blood!! That was inks mixed with sterile water to make it runny so the inks would allow a soft shading. The method is easy by adding in some water it lets less pigments into the tattoo so you get a powder finish almost and it shadows. The inks blend real well, and by rotating the needle and pushing opposite from normal you can shade the area and make cool effects.

  • can i mix distilled water with my inks to do light shading? Im brand new to the art.

  • @marioa111 yeah you can use distilled water , witch hazel , glycerin

  • @marioa111 You can but you wont want to. It will make your colors look transparent. If you want a lighter color, i'd suggest mixing the colored ink w/ white ink, then you'll have a super thick ink to stick into the skin in the lighter shade you wanted. Remember, tattooing ink is all about pigment. If you are putting diluted pigment into the skin, you will get a diluted tattoo.

  • @cxbra glycerin is thick like pigment use half glycerin half water mix, and you can use that for b&g and whitch hazel. dont use other ink like white for b&g. you want the ink diluted .

  • We got ourselves a Bleeeeeeeder!

  • no it doesnt matter it stretches with it.

if u gain muscle it will not effect the tattoo

  • how do u know?

  • @usuck214 because of personal expierence.

  • really? hua. i always thought it would?

  • It looked like there was quite a bit of bleeding, was he going too deep?

  • this is hores shit

  • no it does not matter if you gain muscle witha tattoo because the skin ajust to the mass you become but if you lose weight rapidly after a tattoo the u may have a lil sag or it will disfigure the tattoo

  • I've seen stretch marks in peoples ink, It might be a rare case considering the amount your skin would have to stretch for such a thing to happen, but nether the less.

  • does it fuck the tatoo up if you gain weight alot and qwikly or gain muscle?

  • that's a great question, i gotta find out.

  • definetely would think about it sudden weight gain everything is stretching especially the skin and just like weight loss which wouldnt prob be as bad but will shrivvle it up like

  • cool , im gonna get my Tattoo in one hour,:D
