We have a record of freaking out in shows man, the fans cry so much when they meet the artists, they turn into our heros and legends for our entire lives. We here don't have good rock, but we sure value it. Too bad our last rock band is from more than 10 years now, it was a great band.

At least that's how I try to see them. I think some rock bands are out for the fame, but many of them just wanted to be treated like talented-but-normal human beings.

@isa0ber Well, we don't have famous good rock bands, but if you dig deeper you can find some real good stuff. Of course there is not such thing as The Strokes but in my opinion the best Brazilian bands now are independent or are signed with minor record labels. Try listening to Black Drawing Chalks, The Name, Walverdes and Wry. There is also a tv channel called PlayTV that has a special program featruring Brazilian independent bands that are very good
