  • my uncle lives there in the north in olveston. took me into plymouth a few years back, crazy sight pretty much the only things visible then were the church steeple and some giant boulders. Also saw the rising ash cloud from the day it first erupted too from my house in Antigua, power of nature

  • I was there 3 years a go (it wasn't erupting at the time obviously, just 'gassing') and it's a frightening, eerie and awe inspiring sight.

  • I'm doing geograph AS level. The one main eruption we learn about was on 25th June 1997. This might not be the same eruption but it is possible.
