That was BS that Golbez controlled Kain had unlimited HP and the battle just automatically ends even when Cecil still has a lot of HP. Cecil was kicking Kain's ass in that fight.

The theme of possesing people in this game... Zeromus is possesing Golbez, who's possesing Kain and the elemental lords, and one of the elemental lords is possesing the dead body of the king of Baron....................... I hope that made sense to everyone?

Zemus is not possessing Golbez. He was manipulated as a child, which caused Golbez to become evil. His hatred of losing his parents was the cause. Zemus used this situation to his advantage. He didn't literally possess Golbez. Golbez and Kain were conscious of their own actions. Zemus' will was a strong influence, though.

Show me where it says that... Zemus was not physically controlling Kain and Golbez. Manipulating =/= controlling. If Zemus were controlling Kain, he wouldn't have given a damn about Rosa and stopped his finishing blow on Cecil after he beat him. Or, when Golbez went to kill him but stopped because he realized Cecil was his brother. Yeah, Zemus is definitely not controlling them...

All you've proven is that Kain was being controlled by GOLBEZ and not Zemus. Also, I seem to recall a specific line in the game where FuSoYa says that Zemus is able to manipulate those with darkness in their hearts. Notice again the use of the word "manipulate" and not "control." Manipulate =/= control.

I actually think they used to word "Command". Fu So Ya cast something on Golbez, to free him of Zemus "Command". Or control.

Golbez, was telling Kain what to do. And Kain was listening. AGAINST HIS WILL. That sounds like controlling, to me.

Kain was perfectly aware of what he was doing. Do you know why he did it? Because Zemus used his will to manipulate Kain. Kain, thinking he'd have a chance with Rosa, did it to get Cecil out of the way. And Kain even has a line that says, "Not all of it was because of Golbez... I just wanted to keep you... To keep you by my side." Yeah, I'd say that qualifies as Kain having a will of his own, as Golbez and Zemus don't give a crap about Rosa. XD

Maybe a bit of both, i'll settle with that. Theres just two parts that stand out for me. When Tellah owns golbez, Kain is "Free". Telling me there was some sort of spell on Kain, or something, more than just his own doing.

Also when Fu So Ya cast a spell, only Lunarians can cast, on Golbez. To "Free" Golbez of Zemus command.

With Golbez free, Kain rejoins the party as well.

I'll be playing through the game again, soon, and i'll make sure I figure it out exactly :). for now: TIE

1. When King Baron fires Cecil and Kain comes in to defend him.

2. When Kain betrays Cecil at Fabul and battles him.

3. When Zemus speaks to Golbez as a child and tells him that Cecil is the reason for his suffering.
